Great choice! I’ll help you out with your query. These NVME SSD storages (4TB and above) require huge power draw.. so they seem to not work properly with iPhones at times, but with your mac., it’s going to be a breeze!! The speeds would be blazing fast and you’ll love using it. Having said that, you’ll require an equal or a faster SSD enclosure that supports those speeds and also have active cooling (since these SSDs heat up) Sharing you the best budget product link just for that - amzn.to/4g7B4kv This surpasses the speed of your crucual SSD, has thermal cooling pads and also in built fan! I’m using it myself and I couldn’t be happier :) I hope this helps 🙌🏻

Do be careful and be sure to check if they mention “GBPS” or “Gbps” If it says Gbps, then you need to divide that by 8 so that you get actual GBPS speeds. 2TB SSDs (pre built like the T9s) cost around 20K … The crucial NVME storage (which is a 4TB) ssd gives 4.8GBPS which is very descent and more than double the speeds :) If you want me to assist you on your purchase (in case you’re eyeing an SSD)., feel free to share the link, will be more than glad to help :)
@@techtipsonly you are right they are using marketing tactics to hide the true speed by using complete different terms but with same acronym. Thanks for the information.
Well, these days the speed is more about the usb-ports, enclousures and usb-cable, that the ssd itself. Put that enclousure with usb 2 cable to any port ot that cable to usb2 port ;-)
Can u suggest any other 4TB SSD , I'm getting confused by GBPS and Gbps .

Yo bro, I might be wrong but I can see some 2TB SSD drives as low as 15k with 2Gbps speed. Aren't they better alternatives.
