Colleen's Manga Recs does a fantastic video essay on A Condition Called Love and the hopeless romantic trope, which really helps ease the friction in processing Hananoi's actions (the ML) in the manga and making the read more enjoyable. As the reader, you only know what Hotaru (the FL) knows about Hanaoi.

I am not ready to give up on A condition called love just yet 😅 I think it was more a shock to read something with such an intense ML! Hopefully it will grow on me

I think I was in the group that was hyping up Bean Counter, but I think I was mostly just having fun with talking about it. ("BEAN!! BEAN!!" lol x'D) I'm not in love with it yet, but I'm invested enough to keep going with it. ^^
I did find the guy in A Condition Called Love a bit intense and creepy AT FIRST but he's really grown on me by volume 4. I don't find him creepy anymore.
Love World's Greatest First Love as well! Was also one of my introductions to BL.
Oooh, I'm really curious to hear your thoughts on Snow White with the Red Hair 👀 It does have some action, but not as much as series like Yona of the Dawn, so it's more adventure and romance with bits of action here and there! Glad you weren't quick to drop A Condition Called Love.. I found Hananoi to be a bit sus the first couple volumes too, but he's so lovable once there is more revealed about him!! Really hope you'll end up loving these two 🙈 Also eager to hear your thoughts on Descending Stories when you get to it! After reading it, I'd really like to watch the anime so I can see and hear what rakugo is like 🤭

Bite Maker is an Omega Verse series as well. I actually enjoyed it I have read the first three or four volumes in Japanese on BookWalker. At some point I will continue to collect it. Great haul and video as well.

Been slowly going through So Cute it Hurts! by Go Ikeyamada. I could only get two chapters in at break T_T

I agree he is very intense in a condition called love, but I do think the author did that on purpose. I was a little iffy at first too but after reading volume 3 I was very much into it - maybe it’ll go the same way for you? Idk we’ll see lol
My gently raised beast is very good!! I loved the first volume - it’s not very dramatic I find later on, but very cute & wholesome though there is a lil drama.
Yes he is so intense! But I tend to give most series at least 3 volumes before deciding to give up so I’m committed to keep going! 😂

I have read Witch Hat and it is AMAZING! I’m not up to date but I was planning to read more in October!
