- MSC Meraviglia Has How Many Pools?!
MSC Meraviglia is a 172,000 gross ton cruise ship with a wide variety of bars, restaurants, lounges, and as we show here, pools. In fact, there are so many pools and hot tubs we made this video just to show them off. This was filmed during our August 2021 cruise to MSC's Ocean Cay in The Bahamas. Usually I'm not one to spend a ton of time sitting by the pools, but we did just that in this ship. Was lovely.

I love the msc layout for one their pool decks are so beautiful compared to ncl although I think ncl has them beat in the food department
nice I'm going in September, 7 nights cruise I might have to upgrade to the Arura to get in that pool
Lookout for the emails about upgrade bids. Many folks are getting Yacht Club upgrades at really reasonably prices right now.

There is no extra charge for the aqua park (at least as of 6/23). You just have to sign a waiver (parents sign for minors) and get a wristband.

I just came off of the Divina a few days ago. I injured my knee and was unable to use any of their pools as they all have ladders to get in/out of. It looks like there is at least one pool on this ship with stairs into the pool and two if you go with Arura.
Very good observation and point. For space reasons there aren't a ton of zero-entry pools on ships, but certainly some steps are easier than ladders for those with mobility issues.
Did the horizon pool area have hot tubs

What is small round the pool on the bow of the ship?
I'd need to check, but on most ships, if you see a small pool on the bow, it's for crew.
How deep is the horizon pool?
I don't seem to have anything with the exact depth, but I believe (no promises) that it was the same depth all through, and I was able to stand, but with the water not far below my head (I'm roughly 5'7"). Sorry I can't give a more confident answer :-)
Is the bamboo pool free for all cruisers?
Yep! I really love the look of that area. Close bar, shade, mid-ship, close to the next pool if you do want more direct sun.
How was your food experience??
Food on MSC is, to us, largely meh. Nothing terrible, just not much that is inspirational. I did find a few things I enjoyed in the buffet, including a great salad - but I can't say whether it's hit or miss or a matter of subjectivity.
What pool/hotub is at rhe front of the ship on deck 8? Its not on the deck plan. Is it a private pool?
Not sure about deck eight. Maybe there is something there we're not aware of, but maybe you're seeing deck nine? There are two rooms, type, "MSC Yacht Club Duplex Suite with Whirlpool" that are located nine forward in the center. As the name implies, these rooms have their own whirlpools.
Extra charge to use the kid's pool?
Sorry we missed this comment u til now! The Polar Aquar Park, as of our sailing, was complimentary. We put that caveat only because we have been on other MSC ships where water slides required a pass, but that wasn't the case on our Meraviglia sailing.
