Glenn Morshower(General Sheperd actor/voice) really does play a lot of military roles in series/movies, i remember seeing him as a coronel in Black Hawk Down, a general in Transformers and a secret agent in 24, he even was the voice actor of "Overlord" in the original Modern Warfare 2 and Remaster version

The best part of Transformers is he got killed in the first movie so he plays a different character in the next movie. So typecast as a military guy, he gets killed off and reincarnated in the same series.
