I love this. It's perfectly Burianesque in design, from the mottled dark skin to the chunky muscle tone. The pigmentation on the head is a great touch. It fits right into the atmosphere and established canon!
Ok tell me this How the fuck did we get so realistic to the models because all of the animations are so fucking good. the Death animation in particular because that was so gruesome but at the same time beautiful.
Someone figured out how to double the trig count in a dinosaur model, meaning they can be smoother and more detailed, and some people are just really good at wrangling the animation software
Everything about this guy is beautifully nightmarish. Love how it eats the player's corpse by tossing them into the air and then swallowing them and how it falls with enough force to shatter its lower jaw in its death animation.
This. This is absoulutley awesome. I mean, this is probably the best carnivores creature. Sure the actual design of the animal look really weird and strange, I prefer the cityscape one, the animations are just wow. Best animations of any carnivores creature. That death animation was awesome. The best ever. And I love the sounds, they are so explosive and powerful. I wonder how they animated this. I animate too, but only 2d, I never saw how to do 3d.
@Juan Manolo i know, while i do think tormer has over all much better creature designs and mods, i just really likehow fast and realistic this giga's animations are. Siberian expeditions(which is tomer) is also really really great mod
@Juan Manolo im aware. Tormer's better and all, but Murt is a begginer(i think) and the animations are really smooth. And instead of standard "eat it" or "shake it" and just gobbles it up by throwing it
Very nicely done creature. The colors and markings are very nice and fit with most of the surroundings of the areas on the planet. The animations look very well done, ESPECIALLY that kill animation!!! Holy crap the brutality of that was- HHHH GOOD!! I also love the little detail when it’s killed that it’s jaw was dislocated. I mean, it’s a big creature that took a hard final fall..! My only criticisms though... Firstly, I think the footsteps are too loud. Yes, it’s a big creature. But... I honestly like it (as weird as that sounds) when the carnivores in the games sneak up on you cause you barely heard them coming! With this guy? Even his walking can be heard from a mile away... Secondly, even though I LOVE the animations, I feel like maybe the movements on some (mainly the idle animations) are a tad too fast... I feel like they are another reason that it would give away it’s position like it does with those loud stomps. Thirdly, and lastly, I feel like it’s size should be upped a tad. Just a litttle more. Cause we all know Gigantosaurus was bigger than the trex. Though I feel like there might be an excuse for that. “It’s an alien planet. They’re not all like the earth dinosaurs.” Now if THAT is what they imply, I can get away with that. All in all, awesome critter.

My only criticisms though...
