I'd kill to hear a MicParts SDC84/KM84 comparison. I miss the KM84s that the old studio I would work at sometimes had. Thinking of buying some KM84s - but they're so expensive and I also want to take my family to Greece. Oh well...I guess they'll have to make do with camping?

I have the mic parts high spl sdc84. Its in our first snare mic shootout video. Ill see if i can get my hands on an old 84.

Sounds awesome! Because it’s an electret with a transformer would it sound similar to an Sm81?

Actually id put it closet to the ksm27 or 32. The capsule is bigger than the 81 and the output is hotter than the 81 as well.
