as someone who's been a huge okegom fan for almost two years the fact the fandom is still active and kicking is absolutely insane! im really happy to see fans are still wandering about :)
I love deep sea prisioner games. I find The Gray Garden to be the most charming, and compared to Wadanohara this game doesn't have too many characters. Can't wait for the backstory about the war.
Does anyone know that the name "Ivlis" comes from an Arabic word,"Iblis" who is the ancestor of all Djinns.Ivlis backstory is heavily based not only on Christianity but also Islam aswell
I will! It'll just take a while since that game is kind of triggering to a lot of people and to many, the running joke within it was too dark so I want to make sure I handle it well!
I just wanna tell the Etihw's gender part. Etihw speaks with the masculine pronoun (boku), but it's not the equivalent of someone going by he/him in English. Due to a mistake in vgperson's ENG translation of The Gray Garden, ENG-speaking fans have been using they/them for her ever since the translation was released. It was only a year or two ago that the mistake was discovered, so suddenly changing her pronouns for the ENG wiki would cause an upset, I can link it if you want.
This game is emblematic of my personal problem with DeepSeaPrisoner's games. I tend to really love or at least like the idea and aesthetic, but her actual writing style in-game always turned me off. I witnessed the beginning hour or two of The Grey Garden several times and each time I am ready to get into it this time, but then I just lose interest. Same with Wadanohara - in the actual game I just want to do something else the moment I get into town. All in all I think it really does come down to what you already stated - too many characters. That and the fact that I just kind off don't really connect with her humour just means even though I want to, her stuff just isn't for me. And it's not the gameplay for me, I like turn-based Japano-RPGs and don't mind tedium (tediousness? What's the word here, I'm too lazy to check.) Except for Mogeko Castle, I love that game - probably because there is no overly elaborate cast of characters, and there is a strong thematic focus. ALSO this is, like, a completely petty nit-pick, but I hate the naming convention of The Grey Garden. Just backwards words that are vaguely thematic relevant - it always annoys me, even though it probably is a symptom of choices made in the translation process. Ehtiw and Kcalb just sound... so... dumb.
while i love this game (even tho i haven't played it yet), i partially do agree with you. i get bored once in a while playing wadanohara, which i find to be a great game imo, but most times i end up getting burnt out after spending five minutes on the game itself lol
and i also agree with your opinion on the naming convention. etihw's name is very confusing to pronounce, while kcalb's name is vaguely less stressful to pronounce in actuality. i just call etihw and kcalb "white" and "black"
I just discovered the game but I can't launch the game because I have missing files but thank you for giving a little summary of the game even with my average English I understood a little (I'm potentially the only French here) but thank you very good video
Honestly, deep sea prisoner is way worse than gacha heat. I know gacha heat is bad too but everyone knows that there are things that are way worse than gacha heat.

I always found it funny that most of the names of the demons are backwards. Like Emalf is Flame.
Some other examples
Reficul Lucifer
Kcalb Black
Ethiw White
Lavinrac Carnival
deep sea prisoner's games are definietly one of the games that exist ever
Imprisoned in the Marinara Trench

I actually learn these games from manlybadasshero
Random fact but dsp uses utau/defoko for the mogeke's so you can make a mogeke cover
You know, i think only two games are actually gonna make me excited to watch them, deltarune and funa's next game, likely carnival rhythm
My favorite indie game i ever played.
I remember I used to watch those lil animations in computer class and my teacher wasn't really impressed
13:48 "This isn't like Pokemon Silver with Milly's Milktank"
Was her name always Milly? Dang, I was wrong this whole time
The video creator was incorrect, the character they were referring to is Whitney Pokémon.
thank you for making this video
Ey, I was playing TGG yesterday, thanks for reviewing the game 💖🙏🏻

Cute Appearance but with Dark Themes
So Madoka Magica but a more darker version?
I guess so!
You mean happy tree friends?

Hey if you got time, could you review Ice Scream from deep sea prisoner?
Can you talk about the mogeko castle

But isn’t the community within gatcha heat real young people? At least Funamusea doesn’t involve that.
Opinions on Dishonored?
Does she has social media
All my social media is in the description and linked on my channel!
I meant to was she has Instagram
@@Alicewatertribe Oh! Funemusea does have a Instagram. It's @funamusea_com
So I’m friends with the creators friend. And well apparently male demons have a child through this worm... thing... it’s as strange as you think yes.
Ya know what, I've heard weirder mpreg explanations so I'll take it! LOL
