one extra MASSIVE TIP! only rotate/complete the first kiteloop say 340% not a full 360% or to 11 o,clock, This way when you push out the bar for the landing loop you will get more lift when you pull in. (soft landing) do this only if its a second kiteloop on landing/finishing. If your finishing/landing with a downloop, rotate the first kiteloop to just passed 360% say 1pm then pushout the bar. then pull in again, once again the landing will be soft. This method took me ages to figure out, and is not mentioned anywhere on line, so simple but saves your knees and ankles from hard landings.
He Ben. Thanks for your tutorial of how to kiteloop. Unfortunately I haven't been able to try out your tips because of the weather and work. But when I can go out on the water I will definitely gonna try it out.
Hey Ben, this video has been around a while but I stumbled upon it now.. I'm impressed man looking at your thumbnails too you are doing an awesome job, thanks for upping our kitesurfing game with you!!! 🤙🏼 🤩
He Ben better late then never. Great episode, any chance you could do one discussing rotations after/during the kiteloop. Also I find it tough to start the kiteloop with these high winds any tips there or just grow some balls ;) thanks
Hey May, thank you for your feedback. Have you already checked out Learn a KITELOOP in 3 DAYS Episode 1 and Episode 2 ? Another tutorial about rotations would be a good idea !
One more usefull video how to kiteloop. Thanks. Unfortunately nobody emphasize the point of kitesizing in many how_to_kiteloop videos. All advices are ..the smaller size than better.. or not more 9 - 10 . So i have smallest size is 10 . Should i try to learn looping? Or should i even not try? What about kite design? If i ride on open C 10 m not would it be slower? And stropes length ..25m with open C 10sqm kite? Will it give me enough turning speed to complete loop before landing? thanks
dude easy! start with water ones. do a downwinder that allows you to do kiteloops while riding on the water. do both directions, experiment with the differences between tight pivoting loop and large circles. first do them while riding down wind and then start to ad some resistance on your board. the second part id say start doing them when landing a jump. as you jump slowly steer the kite in opposite direction. after 1 it will feel unpowered and if you keep pulling it will do a pretty light loop on the side of the wind window or do it just after you have reached the highest point on a jump( it doesnt need to be very high) and start descending. wont be scary. in general all kites loop and actually the big sizes for me are much more nicer for learning the loop as the wind is pretty light and they wont send you flying. 15m core and 12m switchblade, rally, liquid force envy.. if you are doing backrolls for transitions kiteloop is a super nice thing to do to get you going the oposite direction. just as you are starting to come out of your rotation
ok so with longer lines u need more time for the kite to catch u after the megaloop. But then they say longer lines let you go higher in the same wind conditions, which should help u recover. Where's the right balance?
What is he saying at 1:57? Re the landing? Kinda difficult for me to understand with his accent 😉. I think it’s important information if I don’t want to break both my knees. Thanks
Ben- thanks again for a great video, one question: most of the time when I’m looping to my nondominant side (which is my port side) it seems that I’m more consistently landing safely if I land toeside. Do you see this in your own riding? Comments ?
When doing big loops you can choose which way to go because you will go downwind. When you loop on your non-dominant side you will go for the toeside as that is your normal heelside stance. Next time just move your kite back and turn it into a transition

One more tip - to push back the bar during kiteloop, to help kite go up and support, and pull it again before landing
Ilya Lysenkov great tip, thank you 🙏

Hey, I said if you don’t feel 100% in balance don‘t try to land it on the board. I recommend a buttcheck than... Does that answers your question ?

Michael Shmilovich hey, yes... I have it also. But gave it with every trick. Even with wakestayle tricks...

Sharing the stoke 🤟🏼 thanks Ben
thank you so much...
hi a try all the step but am not sure if it's the kite on 9 meter noe it fell like a bit slow thanks
big ups for contributing to the community, it will serve many people well!
Herbs M great to hear that, thanks 🙏

with which kitesize should I making/training loops? 13 or 9 since both are quick kites ?
Rouven Utz better use nothing bigger than 10
Learning butt landing is key! I still use that trick a lot lol!
Jerome Loman 😂😂👌
make series about megaloop to pls
Yucel Paralik gonna do it soon 😜
How high I have to be to kiteloop. Because I want try it next summer, now is winter and I don`t want to try it on snow
Eetu Virkkula You don‘t need to much hights. Depends when and how you‘re looping...
start with just 1m jumps
