The interviewer dude is such a robot, man. I don't get it. It's a stark contrast to Iggy's genuine and natural demeanor. Iggy seems bored, but he's a nice fella, so he puts a good effort into answering all the questions honestly. Love him.
so good looking when younger................had such a nice face..........really nice features.......lovely eyes, nose...........liked his look with dark hair
Iggy looks really healthy in this clip compared to pre 'Blah Blah Blah' live footage I've seen. It's nice to see. Maybe some folks like to see him looking fucked up, living the romantic De Quincy opiate dream, but for me it's good that he's still alive, unike Thunders etc.
Iggy has such beautiful eyes........they're large and so expressive.......don't know if they're expressing what he's trying to portray at different times, but I just find those eyes so lovely
15:25 👈🏻🙄that eyeroll was good natured full in the picture ,and not like underhand ....he did indeed do a professional promotion job here.....like he mostly does. This was an amusing interview.
I miss the day when interviews weren't as rehearsed as they are now...and at least Dave let Iggy speak for the most part. Hosts now cut people off & talk over guests.
The transformation between early 80s and early 90s Iggy is massive. He's so sane, and healthy here as apposed to early crazy days. Jake Gyllenhaal could deffo play a young Iggy
Don't know if it was directed at the interviewer. Throughout the interview, Iggy was giving off quite a few looks in general. Though he says he had been clean for years, he seems to be on something here.
That "fool" did his homework though ,and managed to do an amusing interview (even if he had a cliché turd look) .The sideways "look" or glance Pop directed to the right of the studio probably had nothing to do with the interviewer. Just checking and observing his invironment like any person would do. Iggy's not the regular interviewee who'll do the boring predicted things , which made him the fascinating creature he (was) is .
Such a cool unselfconscious guy. So interesting to see this once anarchist playing the corporate (promotion) game....which is no shame ; approaching middle age it was about time his financial security became important after a life of living on the edge....
Love how iggy claims 12 x 5 by the rolling stones as his favorite all-time record. Bless his heart. We're all connected by the Stones. It's just a matter if you have found them, or not.
Yeah, that you're gay means we love you here. Also, however, you're also a fuckbrain because if you think you have to be over 50 to love the Stones or Iggy then you're a sufferer.
I don't think the interviewer is a douche . I think maybe he's just a bit intimidated by the authenticity and genius of Iggy. Iggy is a legend, a great poet, a truthful artist, and anyone who would love music enough to host a show on it would be aware of it. The interviewer is young and probably a bit overwhelmed
I ran into Iggy Pop in Copper Harbor, MI and offered him a beer, and he went back to his cabin and brought two little cans of v8. That is a habit I still have.
1990 Ohh What a good year all the night-club anthems and Alternative rock bands The leather jackets and jeans and boots and straightened hair, like the 80s were modernised.
Iggy looks really good in 1990..you can see the years of cleaner living served him well
Best thing about Iggy is that he's a crazy mother fucker on stage, but a total gentleman off it.

LOVE that he praises the Cramps and Nick

So so so many have gone that route and have died young. Shit that very well could have been me...
Iggy has such beautiful eyes........they're large and so expressive.......don't know if they're expressing what he's trying to portray at different times, but I just find those eyes so lovely
he has large eyes because he's physically tiny. just kinda how that works i guess
I always really liked his eyes. They are clear and very blue, really expressive. It is as if his interior is reflected in them.
Happy Birthday, Iggy! May you ride and ride and ride...
Rolling eyes off stage left, hanging out until bereft of need to roll them anymore, but never a sore word nor hint of chore. Hatsoffto Iggy.

He may have been a square but he actually asked some good questions in my opinion.
The transformation between early 80s and early 90s Iggy is massive. He's so sane, and healthy here as apposed to early crazy days. Jake Gyllenhaal could deffo play a young Iggy
Ewan mcgregor played him very well

iggy is the man!
he is that awesome.
I wouldv gladly watched the music videos
Iggy Pop is a fan of Nick Cave - love to hear when great musicians have a mutual respect for one another!
Great interview.
Iggy's look after he shakes that fool's hand at the end is classic

i totally forgot about the song "Candy" that he did with Kate Pierson!!!

No, my friend, it is you who is the homosexual.
Yeah, that you're gay means we love you here. Also, however, you're also a fuckbrain because if you think you have to be over 50 to love the Stones or Iggy then you're a sufferer.
Well, hey, not everyone likes Kanye West or Justin Bieber, ya know.
Amen, all roads lead home. Cheers.
+A Malevolent So basically, you're just trolling. How 'refreshing'. Yawn...
That music viddy Home was the fastest viddy I ever saw!!!!
I had cable & watched this when it aired I LOVED 120 minutes... When I was in college, I got really drunk with Dave Kendall.
tht pic at 1.22 is so sad its from the Hindley / Brady murders if I remember rightly !
From the Starkweather/Fugate murders.
here in honor of Iggy's birthday
Is it Corey Hart the interviewer?
Dustin Hoffmann doesn't appear to be too interested in this interview. Me thinks the interruptions are bothering him.
Have you ever seen that western with Hoffman from back in the day? Dead ringer then, and pretty close now.

1990 :P
He looks so done
Anton Newcombe ?
Love that dude too...
You would really love GG Allin :D
Is Iggy actually sober in this interview?!? WTF is up with that?
I ran into Iggy Pop in Copper Harbor, MI and offered him a beer, and he went back to his cabin and brought two little cans of v8. That is a habit I still have.
