I agree. Why dupe a brand that has it on lock. I get BBW duping fragrances. How about you bring back the fragrances people miss and love. I just feel like most brands have no creativity lately. Everything smells the same.

I love gourmand scents. I have not smelled the scent vacation vibes, so can you can you clarify this for me? Is it more gourmand or more tropical because usually to me, there’s a difference between those two types?

Don't be afraid to get Coffee and Whiskey for yourself, ladies! I surely did because I'm a gourmand lover as well, and I love coffee scents. I bought this as a blind buy when I saw it on the BBW website. It's one of the better fragrance purchases I've ever made. It shouldn't really be relegated to the men's collection, as I feel the scent is nice for men or women. I bought the cologne, body wash and cream...and loved it so much I ended up purchasing the wallflower scent (back when they still made it...I don't see it offered anymore) and eventually the three-wick candle when I couldn't find the wallflower anymore. No lie, when I wear the wash, cream, and cologne all together (in addition to a coffee-scented sugar scrub that I use in the shower before I layer all three) it gets me a ridiculous amount of side-eyes from guys that it's insane...including one gentleman who literally turned around in the street just to run back and tell me how good I smelled as I passed him. It will get you a ton of attention and compliments from everyone!
Fun fact! Coffee and whiskey was actually released as a “neutral” scent for men or women. We weren’t even allowed to put men marketing! They wanted to be more inclusive but no one really cared if it was listed as mens or women’s so they changed it to men’s this year! Lol
Omgsh I know what you mean, about how BBW used to dupe things without making it obvious, it was almost more fun that way because it was like when you found one, it felt like you “figured it out” or something like that haha! I hope they continue to dupe ‘in disguise’ bc I definitely miss that!!!!!

I always found Dark Kiss to be reminiscent of Coco Mademoiselle. Not quite a dupe straight out the bottle, but something about it smelled very similar to when I would smell it on other people. I saw Dark Kiss is back, but I haven’t smelled it in years to know if this is still true.
BBW is in their dupe era and I’m not mad it. I’m here for it as long as they keep doing classic BBW scents, new and old. I’m def curious about the body oil because the SDJ one is 50 bucks! I love it tho. And you are right about the SDJ cream it really is that good. But I have all the SDJ ones so not really sure I need any of these but I would still like to smell them in store. I’m glad these sprays will be available in stores! That was one thing I didn’t like about the everyday luxuries collection, I couldn’t find those in store anywhere and had to blind buy them online
Pistachio, please, by Finery, smells pretty darn close to Sol de Janeiro. I wish Finery would make a body cream in Pistachio, please. I gotta check these out, though. I love Sol de Janeiro, but it is a little pricey.

Im not excited for the dupes. It would be nice to have some originality. A lot of people has smelled the sol de janeiro ones already or have it. Its nice for people who can't afford the sol de Janeiro ones or want a cheaper alternative but i love seeing new , fresh and exciting scents that are unique or have their own personality rather than duping others

I Agree, Solar Shine is very reminiscent of an older Bbw fragrance I use to LOVE. But I just can't remember the name. It was some coconut lime fragrance I keep hoping they'd bring back

I love both! The SDJ is sometimes too strong for me and Vacation Vibes is similar enough to where I bought it today instead of going to Ulta and buying SDJ.

B&BW Sweethearts Cherry reminds me a LOT of Cheirosa 62 with a splash of Tom Ford's "Lost Cherry" so I wanna see how close it is; and I'm a *HUGE* gourmand lover, vanilla is my absolute *favorite* scent, especially creamy/sweet milky vanillas. B&BW "Bonfire Bash" feels like a dupe for Commodity Milk. I'm also not a huge lemon/citrus scent fan

Keep practicing! With all these reviews, she sniffs a lot lol! I like to sit down with a show/video, number some paper and my arms lol, test scents and perfume oils, and take notes. Your nose transforms and changes, it's pretty cool.

I’m a little bummed by these scents. When I heard there was a potential pistachio scent coming, I thought a true sweet pistachio ice cream would be such an obvious choice given how popular pistachio has been and how torn people were by the Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato. I have and love the Kayali, but I think it would be so fun to have a true sweet, creamy pistachio scent from BBW.
They changed the love always wins notes... I loved it definitely was in my top 10 last yrs Im still gonna buy it hopefully ill love it just as much.

This is a nice option for me. I don’t buy SdJ because they’re owned by L’Occitane, which has a MLM branch. If that changes, I might change my mind.

Coffee & Whiskey smells so good on my husband but he didn’t like it ! He gave it to me. It’s better on him. He doesn’t like artificial coffee scents. He did like Smoked Old Fashioned, and I thought First Sight smelled similar and got him the shower gel to try. It smells good too!
I purchased vacation vibes and pink paradise because I like sol de Janeiro 62 and 68. The solar shine doesn’t seem like something I would like so I didn’t order that one.

Bought the PINK version in Sunset Gelato version of 62 when on sale for $6.00 got mist & lotion. Paired it with Dirty Soul Soap Co wash & scrub called Rio Bum Bum.a dupe for 62. Loved them also passing on BBW.
love vacation vibe so much more than sunset gelato! seems a lot sweeter. The VS version fades on me in seconds :(
They are quite expensive for a body spray people think 17 dollars is expensive for the big mist where it’s 7 dollars cheaper then the small de janerio mist
I’ve found a lot of the new body mists on the market tend to be in the $30 range so I find it to be quite average - example: Skylar, Phlur, Ellis Brooklyn, etc. which I do expect better performance for the price and these do tend to perform better than bath & body works or Victoria’s Secret.
I'm so torn. Buy 3, get 3 plus 20% off today. Buuuuttt, I heard Madacascar Vanilla is coming back for SAS, and that is my #1 fragrance of all time from BBW. I worry about it smelling different than the one from a decade ago, though.

Thank you for reviewing these. I still have my SDJ 62 in both the spray and the bum bum cream that I blind bought I think in 2018 (I should probably toss it). I hate this scent so much. It's sickening to me. It is so strong and loud. I can't imagine why this is a scent that is associated with summer. It's so cloying and just plain nauseating. Now I know which one from BBW to avoid. I don't know what the other SDJ scents are like but 62 was enough to turn me off to the brand completely. However, I am interested in the 68. But no more SJD blind buys for me. I know I'm in the minority here, so sorry for being a debbie downer.
If you don’t like 62 , avoid 71 completely & 40 . Try 68 it smells like baccarat rouge very floral and just enough sweetness & try Rio radiance perfect dupe for TomFord Soleil Blanc I’ve done comparisons of both and it’s spot on better summer scent for you
