2.5 million light years away, 25 species could have evolved, reached a technical zenith, and died out in the time it took a photon to travel to us. Even at light speed it would take 2.5 million years to get there and it is the closest galaxy. Wow
@@whitekingcat5118 I'll do some reading about that - but 3 vs 4 light years is the ball park regardless and still way beyond our technical capability. I think they talk about Alpha Centauri because it has an earth like planet. Smaller ones tend not to be viable for life.
Was in my back garden last night with a pair of pretty decent binoculars. Middle of the city full of light. Literally found it in seconds. A wisp of oval light....amazing
Wtf my sky is gorgeous and i have bortle 4. And when i locate the exakt position of it i can't see it. I can even see other very small stars around the place where it should be instead of the galaxy
@@whitekingcat5118 well you've not found it then. You can see it with the naked eye in the right conditions although I never have. Get out there and keep trying. Where do you track it from? There's good videos on here with a few different ways
Tull din bob sais :) I'm from Penarth but I was exiled to Australia for indiscretions. The sky is great down here, as someone mentions the Magellanic clouds are amazing! One of the most curious things is that the moon appears upside down. There's no face to be seen even if you stand on your head, I tried.
I gather you only see the skies of the northern hemisphere, right? I’m just a curious amateur. I live in the Southern Hemisphere, Rio de Janeiro. I see with the naked eye, late at night near a rock hill the beautiful Southern cross. Around 8pm I see Venus, Mars and the 3 Mary’s.
Yes, unfortunately, we are stuck in the North and don't get to see some of the wondrous objects you have! Would love to see the Magellanic clouds and the Milky Way from the southern hemisphere.
Legend, next time I am hiking in the Brecons and wild camping I will be on the look out, I am sure I have seen the misty cloudy galaxy before, as I hike in the late Autumn early spring and winter months,
Reincarnation is a missconcept.. there is no such thing..we are biological machines,we just stop working..all the traits are passed down through arn and dna to the kids but you wont be sentient again.you only live once and u may choose to waste your life for noyhing or try to build up for next generation. This is limited by social boundries such as religion, social caste and intelligence capability.
You aren’t having any other incarnation. You are one copy from a reproductive cycle going back millions of years. You’re like one link in a chain of billions. Your one consciousness will die with you.

I love it when it gets people like that. It’s mind-blowing on another level. Wow indeed.
Oops at the speed of light it wouldn't take the travelers 2.5 million but still a very long time.
well, according to what 'scientists' have been told to tell us, yes! We will never know its distance for sure!
There are actually other smaller galaxies closer to use. And small is also colliding with us right now. Right?

@@whitekingcat5118 that must be nice bortle 4 and are there any street lights around you? maybe thats why
@@hmuphilly9129 yes streetlights. And some annoying big trees that is in the way

Thanks! And love the background works you created.
Someday, I really do need to go to a dark area during a new moon without any city lights to see this.
Magnificent job !
Amazing
Well done sir you r a legend
Well I just saw it with a 7 x 50 binocs pretty sure itll look more amazing with higher magnification and I live in sorta a suburban area.
Great video and fantastic accent sir
Will be looking come winter

I thought I had heard monotonous boring speakers before. But you are the new leader of that pack.
Bit harsh, I think he has a charming accent.
He’s being helpful, if you can’t stand it then why watch and write cruel things.
@@StoicriderX You think that was cruel? How do you feel about the genocide being perpetrated on the Palestinian people by Israel?????
Dude you startle me with your opening remark😅
Thank you Sir for your beautiful presentation. I presume ,Andromeda is not visible to naked eyes.
Andromeda can be seen with naked eye. You just need to be in a dark area.
It is..i just checked with binoculars:)) is its a new moon night and clear sky and no city lights u can spot it with naked eye..
You can for naked eye space viewing I would recommend going to a dark sky park
Thank you for clearing my doubt,Sir.

Diolch am y fideo.
Jupiter is between the Cetus and Aries at the moment so I use that as another way to find Andromeda (along with Caseopia).

Andromeda has to have other living beings on it. My next reincarnation will be there 😁

I wonder what's the name that any living species living there gave to the galaxy
Those living there call it "HOME"
Ask Zeus
Sir plz upload the space adventurers video ❤️❤️
I take it back my sky location is ruined by amounts of light pollution even if theres a new moon, or the moon is below the horizon.
When I look up in the night sky I. Don't see it
Cuz you live in city
They moved it.
This is the andromeda galaxy
You are bitting about the bush!.
Just go straight to Cassiopeia and look for the shape W pointing straight to Andromeda
