Stamos has a unique brand of charisma. He knows how hot and cool he is, but he doesn't give us the false humility act. He knows that compliments from him mean a lot to people, and he makes people feel really good about themselves while also being hilarious and charming. Great episode.

Honestly didn't expect much from this one. It's John Stamos. I didn't expect him to be so off the rails, even having Sean throw out the insults. Rob Lowe line was perfect, and John was such a good sport about it. Definitely a memorable episode for sure.
Same, But as the episode went on I realized, Oh, this is what happens to someone when you spend so much time around Bob Saget. The way he lead Sean through the Howard Stern story and then pulled the rug out from under him. Then the momentary look after the Rob Rowe line. ( I see what you did there. That was cold but I respect you for it.) Truly a surprising episode that I figured would be bland, but thoroughly enjoyed. Changed my perspective of John as just being that actor from Full House.

Stamos really brought his personality and unique style, I don't remember any episode being this interesting, just for how everything flowed differently
First guest that really kept Sean on his toes. I haven’t seen any long form interviews with Stamos, but he exudes a sort of chaotic energy that’ll compliment you and in the next breath knock you down a peg to keep you humble. But the fact he knew so much about Sean and his show means it comes from a place of love.
Literally one of the best episodes of Hot Ones! Stamos is the embodiment of charisma. Funny, handsome, and a good interviewee. “This is what killed Saget!” 🤣💀
He is clearly the guy who can make everyone relaxed and comfortable enough to be themselves. I haven’t watched a ton of these but he got Sean to just geek out and also razz him well enough to tease him back like they were old friends. Love to see it :)
John Stamos straight out the gate with a compliment on how good-looking Sean is! He was like, the pinnacle of male beauty for so many years, I don't think some people could even understand. It would be like Brad Pitt telling another guy how handsome he is! I bet Sean cherishes that. What a guy. ❤
I love episodes like this where its not just an interview but a hang out and the two slowly get more comfortable with each other until its just buddies hanging out
I love John Stamos, but who would have EVER thought, his episode would become one of EVERYONES favorite episodes?!?!? Amazing interview, I loved all the charismatic interactions and jokes and just all of it! just WOW
This was so much fun!! The chemistry, John's incredible charisma, Sean talking with his dad and making jokes, I could watch this for hours. Please bring John back!
There’s been so many ppl in this show I’ve been a huge fan of but this by far is my favorite episode. The chemistry, John’s dark sense of humor with the bob joke, the call to dad and Howard, The rob lowe joke…I could go on. 👏👏
I've only recently discovered this show and have been hopping around the episode lineup...My favorites so far are Zac Efron, Josh Brolin, Paul Rudd, and Viola Davis. John Stamos definitely made my short list. Interesting in a unique way, peculiar skeptical mannerisms, stale humor, surprising camaraderie, seemed earnest, definitely a character who was shaped by "the business" in his own way.
John is definitely one of those people who makes friends wherever he goes. He left this episode bff’s with Sean’s dad, invited Sean to a party, apparently the new cohost of the show, and I’m assuming besties with the whole crew. As an introvert I am in awe.
For a couple years he would go to an event at Disney World called Candlelight. It's a big performing arts showcase and high schools from all over the country send their choirs, bands, orchestras. Stamos was there my senior year of high school and a good friend of mine had the chance to have a conversation with him. Stamos gave him his number and told him to keep in contact because he had a future as a musician. Such a genuine, kind guy. He's a frequent guest at Disney so he's even come into my restaurant too! I didn't have him, but my coworker who did said he tipped very well. I've pretty much only heard good things about him.
What a great episode! John Stamos seemed like he’s practicing to be a host himself. Calling Sean’s dad was amazing and the Private Parts portion was just hilarious. It’s great to see someone open up like this and just be unapologetically themselves.
I'm not sure what I expected from this interview, but this was absolutely incredible. Love that Stamos respects the memory of his friends instead of tip-toeing around the sensitivity that is usually expected of the passed.
Best Hot Ones Ever! Most wholesome episode yet. You can literally tell how he let out a bit of the real you, you swore a bit, laughed, and even dad went from serious to front row seats. Loved it!

John is one of my favourite guests ever. Between him talking to Sean’s dad, his sass and his jokes (especially the Bob Saget joke), I was laughing out loud throughout
For the first time in my life I'm a John Stamos fan. I never realized his whit and charisma were this formidable. One of the best interviews to date and the set up of Sean with the Private Parts scene was hilarious. Sounds like me and my best friends bantering. Outstanding episode again, FWF!
What a blast. John is an excellent storyteller. And he's all around talented - quick, witty, funny, talented, kind, bright. I look forward to his book.
Holy cow, how awesome is John Stamos! Talk about the definition of old school cool - suave, kind, humble, and such a gentleman. People from all walks of life (including me) should be taking notes.
You have to appreciate it when a guest comes in to the show with great energy and John Stamos did that and then some. What an unexpectedly great episode.
I feel like this is one of the few episodes that actually surprised Sean as well. John feels so spontaneous. You never know what he's gonna say or do next. Loved it.
I feel like John asked Sean more questions. But it’s in such a loving way where he just cares about him as a human. I feel like that is so rare nowadays and that’s a quality I want to emulate.
Sean definitely didn't get to most of his questions because John was so outgoing and personable. I like how Sean didn't push questions and just rolled with it.
Holy cow this episode blew me away. I always had a crush on him during Full House and this episode was even better than I could have imagined! The phone call with Mr. Evans was so heartwarming!!!😊
I was not expecting this episode to be so good. This may actually be one of the best Hot Ones yet. He is so charismatic and I love the chemistry between him and Sean
That was a solid episode. Both guys taking shots and laughing at each other’s jokes. Definitely one of the better ones I’ve watched. It seemed like they were both out having lunch enjoying themselves.
I love how John was acting out the whole time and kept asking “has anyone done that before?” He seemed to genuinely have so much fun on this show, he’s the best!
Aw, this was AMAZING! Stamos was fantastic & such a great dude. Between offering Sean's dad front row seats/backstage passes to offering Sean drumming lessons, to being happy Sean told his dad he loved him & just being a fun & nice guy here. I love that he also mentioned friends that have passed (keep their names alive) like Don Rickles & Bob Saget. ♥️ And as always, Sean was great! 🙌🏻
I feel like John Stamos is a guy who’s done a lot of reflection in life. He’s so appreciative of a lot of stuff. Pointing out how Sean said he loves his dad when hanging up the phone. Little things in life are important.
I love how John Stamos is just so natural on camera and gives an friendly interview and seemed SO excited to be there. You can definitely tell the appreciation he felt for being there and that he’s a fan of the show. This episode falls in the category of Legendary Interviews on this show
There's a restaurant in Huntington Beach I worked at and John was a regular. He liked it cause no one ever gave him star treatment he just likes being treated like a normal guy. 100% genuine person.
I love how Stamos is one of the biggest stars ever and he is clearly a huge fan of the show. The chemistry between these 2 was incredible. Idk if I've ever seen someone bounce off Sean and vice verse so well
I started watching this while eating and now I can't stop. This episode is way better than I thought it would be, without a doubt. Stamos seems like a pretty good dude.
I've seen them both do interviews and never would have guessed the chemistry they'd have together. That's what they mean by lightening in a bottle, big congrats to all involved! I hope a lot of high fives were exchanged after this.
I’ve never seen anyone ask Sean about himself before. Not only did he ask about his parents but he had Sean call his dad and offer him free tickets to a show!
John Stamos has always been just beyond my radar, where I knew of him but wasn't actually familiar. Seeing him like this, hearing him articulate these stories and how he "just pays attention to people" ... He seems like such a kind human. This was a feel good interview, thanks.
The part about Sean knowing the Rhino and immediately backpedaling had me laughing so hard. That's low key one of the funniest moments on the show ever

I haven’t laughed so hard at something in a while, their personalities meshed so well that was incredible
same, me also
"This is what killed Saget" line really caught me off guard. Too funny.
The “this is what killed Saget” line made me so emotional… having been a fan of Bob Saget’s comedy, I know he was laughing wherever he is 🥹😂
Yeah, that was nice. _Horrible,_ but _nice._ If that makes sense. 😂
@@Cimlitein the best way possible lol
u deff dont know the real saget lol stop feeling bad for celebs
BRUUUUH SAME
That joke was literally for bob😂😂
John Stamos straight out the gate with a compliment on how good-looking Sean is! He was like, the pinnacle of male beauty for so many years, I don't think some people could even understand. It would be like Brad Pitt telling another guy how handsome he is! I bet Sean cherishes that. What a guy. ❤
John was one of the most chaotic guests ever and I loved it 😂😂
Dudes got ADHD for sure. 😂
Dude is high as a kite on the white stuff
@@youtubeash85THANK YOU!
Yup pure ADHD
Definitely why he didn’t feel the heat. And the swollen nostrils are a dead giveaway. He’s probably finishing up Bob’s stash…
I love episodes like this where its not just an interview but a hang out and the two slowly get more comfortable with each other until its just buddies hanging out
Hands down one of the best episodes. Love when the guests are interested in Sean too and it is like a "ping-pong" match of comedy and conversation
Love that description, that's exactly it & why I enjoy watching the show.
Most definitely !!
I love how Sean can just roll with the punches, especially when he put his dad on the phone with John Stamos 😂
Love how John had to make sure he told Sean how great he is in all aspects
That’s what he does
Sean has his charisma set to 100 of course it be like that
I like how he was so polite with Sean's dad. I also loved how Sean and Stamos playfully threw the napkins at each other
There’s been so many ppl in this show I’ve been a huge fan of but this by far is my favorite episode. The chemistry, John’s dark sense of humor with the bob joke, the call to dad and Howard, The rob lowe joke…I could go on. 👏👏
RIGHT!? Ending with the beautiful eyes joke so funny 😂 I would’ve never guessed John Stamos would be one of my favorite interviews ever.
@@mm6705 If you're new to the show, the Dave Grohl and Gordon Ramsey interviews are essential viewing
This was the most amazing episode. Stamos is such a lovely and genuine person and clearly "got" the show.
I'd love to see a life-size cut-out of John Stamos at the next "HOs" episode.
The rizz just pouring effortlessly out of Stamos with his class and humor is impressive. What an ep
Glazing crazy
@@mase2031 you too insecure to admit or see the truth. Stamos is a legend mane
@@mase2031how you gonna a term like glazing under a John Stamos video? Major L
What a great episode! John Stamos seemed like he’s practicing to be a host himself. Calling Sean’s dad was amazing and the Private Parts portion was just hilarious. It’s great to see someone open up like this and just be unapologetically themselves.
Total charisma bomb. He could replace the bald guy overnight.
Stamos seems like such a nice guy irl. I’m so glad he wasn’t just a lovable character, he’s actually absolutely charming
Except that time where he got a girl in his bed and then let his friend switch places with him in the dark bc his friend wanted to sleep with her.
His conversational jokes and timing scream Rickles.
You should
I'm not sure what I expected from this interview, but this was absolutely incredible. Love that Stamos respects the memory of his friends instead of tip-toeing around the sensitivity that is usually expected of the passed.
I believe he made a similar joke on Twitter, got called out, and had the same response not long after Saget died.
Best Hot Ones Ever! Most wholesome episode yet. You can literally tell how he let out a bit of the real you, you swore a bit, laughed, and even dad went from serious to front row seats. Loved it!
What I love about Hot Ones is that a lot of times, it's just us getting to watch Sean make new friends who happen to be mega famous.
He's like Narduwar with wings. I don't understand how Narduwar isn't the most requested guest on Hot Wings at this point.
the Dave Grohl interview still rings true in my mind
i mean sean is more famous than john stamos in 2023
no disrespect to stamos, but sean is the face of a show that gets tens of millions of views every week
@@h0lly_blue I laughed so hard at the, "I've got a confession to make."
@@henrytawnn8694lmao for some reason my first interpretation was to picture a flying Nardwuar, despite the obvious 😆🤦🏻♂️ ngl was a bit confused (but also amused) for a second!
This was one of the best episodes I've seen in Hot Ones history. It was more 2 guys hanging out having fun, roasting each other and everything around rather than an interview. Loved it
John is one of my favourite guests ever. Between him talking to Sean’s dad, his sass and his jokes (especially the Bob Saget joke), I was laughing out loud throughout
The Saget joke literally made laugh so loud I woke my kids up
Agreed!!!! So much! I have never commented so much and I am a full fan of this show...regardless of the guest.....
Agreed. I was genuinely charmed lol
Hands down one of my favorite episodes EVER! John is actually hilarious and so kind.
For the first time in my life I'm a John Stamos fan. I never realized his whit and charisma were this formidable. One of the best interviews to date and the set up of Sean with the Private Parts scene was hilarious. Sounds like me and my best friends bantering. Outstanding episode again, FWF!
Smiled from ear to ear with this interview. Loved that he got excited, Mr. Evans knew he played. So polite.
“He DOES know me!” 😂 So cute!
I was coming to look for a comment like this! I did not expect to fall in love with their chemistry!
This may be the sneaky best episode of this show. Such an entertaining episode and the chemistry between Sean and John are crazy
I have never seen any guest make Sean laugh as hard as John did! The banter and John's quick asides were hilarious. A++++ episode
Is... is this the greatest Hot Ones episode? Sean and John we're having so much fun it was contagious
That was a solid episode. Both guys taking shots and laughing at each other’s jokes. Definitely one of the better ones I’ve watched. It seemed like they were both out having lunch enjoying themselves.
21 seasons in and we're still having episodes like this? What a treasure.
And as always, Sean was great! 🙌🏻
One word to describe this interview: Authenticity
It’s what separates this show from the rest ❤
You absolutely NAILED it. Best description
I feel like John Stamos is a guy who’s done a lot of reflection in life. He’s so appreciative of a lot of stuff. Pointing out how Sean said he loves his dad when hanging up the phone. Little things in life are important.
I think this was the moment that solidified John Stamos having respect for Sean.
I perceived the same stuff about John, and you've framed it perfectly:)
Epic interview. The dad phone call. Calling out Sean for NOT doing enough research. General good vibes. This is one of the hottest ones yet, y'all.
Calling out Sean was beautiful 😂😂 the towel throwing had me crackling. Had to rewind that part and watch it again.
Yes definitely good vibrations.
This was unexpectedly one the most entertaining and enjoyable episodes in a long time. Killer chemistry between Sean and John.
I love how Stamos acknowledges Sean. And to see Sean with genuine hearty laughter is such a treat. This whole episode was a blast.
I love how John Stamos is just so natural on camera and gives an friendly interview and seemed SO excited to be there. You can definitely tell the appreciation he felt for being there and that he’s a fan of the show. This episode falls in the category of Legendary Interviews on this show
Stamos has always been so charming and that Saget joke is a true sign they were genuine friends
Highlight of the episode
And him bringing up Rickles. I could listen to hours of him talk about Bob and Don.
There's a restaurant in Huntington Beach I worked at and John was a regular. He liked it cause no one ever gave him star treatment he just likes being treated like a normal guy. 100% genuine person.
What a fantastic chemistry these two have. One of the best Hot Ones interviews to date.
I love how Stamos is one of the biggest stars ever and he is clearly a huge fan of the show. The chemistry between these 2 was incredible. Idk if I've ever seen someone bounce off Sean and vice verse so well
On his IG, he said he hasn’t seen the show before. He probably didn’t watch Bob’s episode
I have no idea who he is. But then I never watched any of the shows mentioned.
that Rob Lowe line was so funny
I love the shower of compliments Stamos poured over Sean. He deserves the praise! 🎉❤
I’d love to shower with Stamos…
This was one of the wildest episodes yet. It was going a million miles an hour. Loved it.
How he described Full House and saying there was no central character on the show, that love was the central character was cool to hear.
That show was full of love. But Fuller House forgot that.
I literally had low hopes for Stamos to be so enigmatic this episode. He shattered my expectations. This was so wholesome and hilarious
shut up
Agreed! This is one of the best episodes for a thousand reasons!
It was literally "a very special Hot Ones with John Stamos". I won't tell anyone you liked it and you keep my secret, I'm confused, I'm ashamed...lol
I started watching this while eating and now I can't stop. This episode is way better than I thought it would be, without a doubt. Stamos seems like a pretty good dude.
We need this to be at least an hour long. This feels like it was a really fun interview to do for both of them.
And we need footage of John's party with his friends and Sean, eating all of the wings and sauces.
Would have been an amazing extended version.
I've seen them both do interviews and never would have guessed the chemistry they'd have together.
That's what they mean by lightening in a bottle, big congrats to all involved! I hope a lot of high fives were exchanged after this.
@@henrytawnn8694That was my first thought! We don’t just need to see that, we HAVE to see it.
This is such a great episode. I love how many questions he asked Sean and how complimentary and down to earth he is.
He is so awesomely old school showbiz in the very best way... he riffs REALLY well and great stories. Loved this one! What a sweet guy.
This was a feel good interview, thanks.
... Isn't it terrible I've become so cynical that I agree but immediately wonder when his demons will come out
The part about Sean knowing the Rhino and immediately backpedaling had me laughing so hard. That's low key one of the funniest moments on the show ever
