Actually, in blood mode, it is revealed that she did indeed kill the girl and take her eyes. Not sure if the eyes were put into dolls or whatnot though.

sameeeee, i decided to re-play this game after i found out there's another ending called "if", i didn't remember that when i first know about this game in 2015 when i was a kid. 9 years later and totally shocked with all the lore lol.
If I'm truly honest, I think that the story was quite butchered by the true ending. The blonde guy was never to be seen again when in the end he was alive as showed in "if" (which was not only an if, but also the boy's pov), losing the purpose of his existence completely as he just was used to save Aya by the end of the main story. Blood Mode only made things switch from the father being the crazy one to the mother carrying a curse that now Aya has so it's the excuse of why she does what she does. I loved this game so much but the endings had so many plot holes that spoiled it a bit for me, sadly. Just my opinion!
It has something to do, actually! You can find this book in the Laboratory, it´s called "New Text on Anatomy". When Aya finds it, she recalls her father reading it all the time, but since it has a lot of gross pictures she doesn´t wanna look at it. So yeah, she turned into the dark side after she eventually looked at it...
It´s called Old Doll! I had to look it up on the game´s Gallery option, which has all the BGM that was used in the game. The funny thing is that this song is also used on the RPG horror game Ib, but it´s called Old Puppet!
Hey dude, if you were in aya's shoes and you had to escape your evil fathere mansion what would you do? I personally would have gotten to at least the first or second floor of the mansion, brake a window with something, jump though It, and run like I'm sonic.
I honestly think I would've died long before reaching father haha. But I guess, if I actually manage to reach the end, I would also go to a second floor and throw myself from a window. A broken leg and cuts are better than becoming a doll forever!!!

Let's keep in mind that Aya's still a young girl and probably the possessed doll has a lot of strength. Also, Aya must've been in shock by then knowing that her father was about to catch her.

Like almost every other person running away from a killer in horror movies. Also, another thing I would have done if I was aya is get anything I can throw at the father like a small stool or a toy and throw it at him when he gets close. And I say throw because the dude has a chainsaw, so if I tried to physically get close and personal, I would be killed.

Well, the Mad Father Remake pretty much adds more to the story and I think it does explain better what happens. Though I played the remake, I only uploaded a video about how to get the 20 gems, so in regards of updates I guess I can think of doing ann "All Endings" type of video again but with the remake version!
Huh, that's weird. I've always been able to choose to save Maria when I get to that point. Maybe you were playing one of the first versions? I don't have an answer for that, unfortunately. Finding the 21 gems will unlock a special cutscene at the end of the game, and also lets you play the "If" mode, so it doesn't affect the decision to help Maria or not.

Maybe Aya got that hair color from a grandparent's genes (story wise, because I think it was just that her design looked better with dark hair rather than brown and Sen decided to go with it). Another theory I can say to play a little bit with the story, is that since Father is a scientist, he could've developed a potion to change Aya's hair color, since he might think that she would look more beautiful as a doll with dark hair! Just a silly theory though haha
