When winding the bobbin, i understand that i can stop it when i tap the foot pedal. Can i resume winding the bobbin after stopping it with the foot tap?

Yep! The foot tap can on that pedal can resume or end the winding of the bobbin.
My bobbin is all ready to wind and nothing happens when i press the foot control. What could be wrong?
