- The Rivolta Combinata Bass VII is the first bass guitar in the Rivolta range. Watch RJ Ronquillo demonstrating the tones of another superb Dennis Fano design.
Designed around the same body silhouette and construction as the 6-string COMBINATA, the COMBINATA BASS VII features a 32" scale, slim taper set neck with a medium 'C' profile, chambered mahogany body and German carve top.

Looks vintage but has a nice mix of modern/vintage tone. Cool bass!

Good playing. The tone sounds like they're all running through guitar amps. Would have liked to hear at least a few normal bass tones. Always a pleasure to see your demos though!
That has some really nice sounds ...both pickups sound good, even the bridge pickup by itself was nice too, which rarely happens.

Not sure which bass I want now make them all sound amazing. So glad to have found this amazing site and all the styes they deliver. Are you playing through a bas rig or a guitar amp? Just wondering. I 'd like to hear this through a nice MESA set-up. Thats for the awesome demo

These basses are beautiful. Sounds like the pickups are super hot, though. (Like too hot).
Guess lowering them might help to curb the tendency to OD.
Does RJ use an overdrive pedal of some kind on the bass demos? I haven't heard a demo of the combinata that sounds like this

Why do they put the pickups so far back? I want at least one pickup right up by the neck where it's nice and warm... It's called bass...
