- The Water Park of New England is a recently rebranded indoor water park next to the Double Tree hotel in Danvers, Massachusetts. This water park was known as CoCo Key until the water park closed in March 2020 due to the pandemic and when it reopened last year, it received a new name. Not many people know this 65,000 square foot park has reopened, but it may be New England's best indoor water park for kids.

The Coco Key chain was as unlucky as it gets. Some closed because of poor operations or health problems while the others were sold to other companies. The Great Wolf Lodge in Fitchburg is the perfect example of that.
At least they seem to have lived on with new names.

I visited this waterpark a lot when it was CoCoKey. I remember attending a couple birthday parties here.

Along with the Branding, this place could use a few things to compete with Great Wolf Lodge: A wave pool, glass roof to bring in tons of natural light, a couple family raft slides, and even rebuilding some of the current slide tower slides. Converting one of the tube slides into a Bowl slide is a perfect example of that. Adding some Constrictor Turn elements (since the slides are made by WhiteWaterWest) would also boost the fun of the current slides

If you are interested in covering more of these regional indoor waterparks, I highly recommend looking into Seven Clans in Thief River Falls Minnesota next time you are in the state. It's about the same size as this place, but has three notable highlights. 1. It's quite well themed for its scope (woodland theming) 2. It's tube slide has a few good moments of airtime (and the body slides are fun too), and 3. It has one of the best lazy river's I've been on. It's a bit out of the way, but again if you find yourself in the area, it is worth checking out.
Most of my Minnesota trips will stay in the Minneapolis area.
Both those blue water slides that go outside look quite fast. A fun place for New England!
I just wish the body slides were smoother.

I went here on a summer camp field trip when it was still CoCo Key. It was fun then, and I'm interested to see what they do with the new theme (or lack thereof).
I think it's pretty similar to how it was.
Fitchburg opened in the 4th quarter of 2008 while this is an earlier CocoKey design this one opened in may of 2007

Went here with my kids many years ago when it was Coko Key. I remember they enjoyed it a great deal, though we preferred Great Wolf Lodge in recent years. Have you been to Kahuna Laguna in NH? Never been there and was wondering what you thought of it.

Yeah I love kahuna it isn’t necessary to be staying at the hotel but it’s complimentary if you do I believe. The park is awesome but there are not lots of slides.

Wow! I found another total drama fan on a video about researching on these CocoKey waterparks this one opened in may of 2007 the great wolf lodge in Fitchburg opened in 2014 it used to be a CoCo key which opened in December of 2008
Is it comparable to great Wolf because great wolf isn't great and overpriced but it gets the job done
Great Wolf has better slides, but this is usually far cheaper.
Oh so that's what happened to CoCo Key
The phone number still says CoCo Key.
Note 1:When packed (Summer and weekends) it is very dirty.most of the time you’ll find a wet chicken finger sitting on the floor.
Note 2:Dip in theatre is named such because at Night you might be able to spot tv show playing on the giant cloth.
Note 3: apparently there have been reports of there employees having adult times inveje park.

Big water slide doesn't light up like that . Pitch black actually . Drinks at the bar are outrageous . Adults to get in are 40 buck s a piece no deal .
