Hey man. I was at KTO. We spoke a couple times but I don’t think I got to introduce myself. I think we played next to each other the second After Dark match (I had the shiny blue rushed paint job Pathfinders). I think I played next to Sam the third match of After Dark when I lost to that same Custodes team you mentioned. My som and I were standing next to you during the awards ceremony too I think. It was our first event and we had a blast. I don’t think we can make it next year because I found out we’re expecting another child late this year (found out driving to the event so I may have been a little distracted during my games ha). With any luck these continue to be successful and we can come back for the 3rd. Those Vostroyan Guard look sick up close man

My other older kids don’t show any interest but my 4 year old is already obsessed with the models so he may join us down the road. It was great meeting everyone there and we both had a blast at our first event so we absolutely want to go back when we can

Your videos are rapidly becoming filled with cameos from guys named Phil 🤔. Great recap! I love it when people give attention to the more casual/narrative side of events.
Sounds like an awesome event. Wish I'd have been able to go. Being in the UK that wasn't much of an option. I am putting together a small Kill Team event at Warhammer World though. Enough for about 26 players. Super relaxed and chill games with a bunch of people that want to play and or learn the game.
@@battlebrotherstabletop Nick from the Warhammer Community team has helped us out as they don't keep the Kill Team boards and terrain on site. We've organised 10 boards with GW terrain so all people have to bring is themselves and what they would normally need for a tournament. All friendly games though. It's not until June but already got enough interest to fill the boards for a while. Hoping to make a slightly bigger event at some point in the future. And if I had TTS or something to run it on if be well up for it! Only have phones and a couple of old tablets though, unfortunately.

Your vids have convinced me that KTO next year is an event I should go too. Plus I live in Pennsylvania so shouldn't be too tough. Thanks Ben and Im looking forward to you reviewing the new aldari corsairs. I never really liked aldari but these all unique elf pirates have my interest so I can't wait to hear what you have to say. Zeke had so much fun with the narrative event. The championship is so mentally draining and it was nice to hear how much fun everyone had ... But yeah, I was busy beating my head against a wall of talent players. There was some serious talent there. Can't wait until next year!
The dice gods can be cruel sometimes it happens I've done the same with my vet guard Sniper rolled 4 ones but my sergeant was already dead so I couldn't use the orders
