Slam before 7AM! East Matagorda Bay Fishing, Texas Saltwater Kayak Fishing, Down South Lures & DOA

- I fished East Matagorda Bay with soft plastics and the sunrise bite was on fire. Caught a Slam before 7AM on Down South Lures and DOA Shrimp. This was only the second slam of my life and the first on all artificial lures. Texas Saltwater Kayak Fishing is some of the best in the country. Hobie Kayak Fishing the Texas Gulf Coast for Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder is a must!

Was the entry video of driving into the Beach just some old video or did you drive to the Beach and drag the Kayak into the South shore of East Matty, if so be careful of the rattle snakes and gators , I have had run ins with both on the South shore and it was never any fun !

i recently got a kayak. and was wondering where you launch. is it on the left of beach rd going towards the mouth? live in bay city so its a quick drive down
You try anything out yet? I’m looking to try kayak fishing out next week for the first time. I’m thinking the kayak launch park or oyster lake.
yeah ive been to east matagorda a few different times. the paddle sports lauch is very easy with good parking. when you going out?

Not sure. I live in Dallas but my parents live in Bay City. I'll be down tomorrow for the week. Weather doesn't look too good of course my luck. lol Have you tried/like the paddle launch over Allen's or Rawling's cut? You planning on going out any this week?@@jonathandierks9443
Went to the Matty kayak launch Thur after all the rain and caught 3 redfish and a flounder.@@jonathandierks9443
