DIY Dollar Tree Vintage Inspired Wood Spool (33)

- In this video I share how I transform 2 Dollar Tree wire paper towel holders, 1 package of party plates & an empty paper towel roll into a vintage inspired wood spool. This spool pairs well with so many vintage, rustic elements and decor pieces. I stage it several ways to show you how you can decorate with spools to add a unique, vintage touch to any setting. You can paint the spool any color but I spray painted this one using Brown Boots but would love to make more in the various colors especially cream and gray. The spool label I used, I searched Google Images and found a lot to choose from. I resized the image to enlarge its size to fit the center of the plate. This project is very easy and affordable to make. I also go over more options you can use to wrap the spool and many can be purchased at Dollar Tree. You can make several spools and group them together using various colors and spool labels. They will add charm to that fall setting and so many options to dress these up for Thanksgiving and Christmas!
