      @@SuitcaseMonkey that is true. I happened to view another video about Singapore recently, and discovered so many distorted articles and even footages of other countries to describe street food in Little India and shop houses in Chinatown!

      To be fair, they possibly were. Watching other people’s travel videos (often with more views) can be annoying when the host clearly has little experience of being there and it’s just copied generic text. Oh well.

      @@РозаВетров-щ8э Yes, there was a rise in cases in december and early january but its pretty much treated like the flu these days. See the doctor, wear a mask , be socially responsible and stay home. No special restrictions, life goes on.

      Best to visit in Nov/Dec as it gets cooler. The downside is it’s also the rainy season.

    Hi There, with the explorer card, do you pay anything for the actual card? Or do you just get the 33% off, due to buying it through the website? Clarification would be incredibly appreciated :D

      @SuitcaseMonkey  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there. The card is digital. It’s just on your phone so no fee. See the link which explains more.

    Remember going to the Night Safari in 1998 as a young teen, there was a very stressed tiger pacing up and down. So sad. Put me off zoos for life.

      Yeah as I mentioned in the video I’m not normally a zoo guy and I wouldn’t normally have visited if it wasn’t for it being so popular so I felt I needed to check it out for the video sake to be able to review it. From my limited understanding of animals I didn’t see anything like that but I get you

      That was ages ago, I hope you can visit it again in present day as obviously massive changes have been made, and refresh or reinforce your perspective. Discovery walking tour tv has videos of the Singapore Zoo, night Safari, river wonders, bird paradise free for viewing on TH-cam

    Get your guide is not working today, tried several times. Maybe on monday after they fix the software patch. I noted Grab can access the same plans, but only 2, not 7.

    • @SuitcaseMonkey
      @SuitcaseMonkey  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh really? I guess it was due to the worldwide software issue. Interesting

    Hi suitcase monkey😊. How does the get your guide all inclusive pass work please? Does it mean I can see as many attractions as I can fit in two days? Or is there is a maximum number of attractions I can see within 2 days... I'm confused cos I think I can fit in universal studios and at least 7 others.

    • @SuitcaseMonkey
      @SuitcaseMonkey  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey. I talk more about it in a follow up Singapore tips video so check that out. But there are two types of the all inclusive one includes USJ and you can see as much as you can within the amount of days you book. Or the other one is just for a set number of attractions and doesn’t include USJ

    Been there many times, and my friends sister is a domestic worker there, she tells me that they are very abusive to their workers. They MOM (Ministry Of Manpower) program even enforce that the workers keep quiet and do as they are told. Because of this unfortunately many of these workers commit suicide as they don't have anywhere else to turn to, they have their passports confiscated so they can't just get up and leave
