How to use disclosing tablets

We show you here how to use disclosing tablets! (briefly)
These little dye tablets are so useful for highlighting any areas you may have missed when brushing.
Step one: brush your teeth
Step two: chew the tablet and spit
Step three: brush any colour left on your teeth
Plaque left on your teeth can cause:
Bad breath
Gum disease
Cavities
Staining
Decalcification/permanent marks if you have braces
You can buy disclosing tablets online, from your local pharmacy or supermarket, or if you are a patient, you can buy from the Reception desk at Devon Square Orthodontics. Use them once or twice a week to keep your oral hygiene excellent!
Remember - we can not fit you with braces until your oral hygiene is excellent, and we will check your brushing at your appointments. We are always happy to give any extra demonstrations or advice if you have any questions.
