I am still so surprised and happy KBS gave us this amazing Chanyeol Cover. Sadly many people didn't appreciate it!! :( I am a bit older (born few years after the wall came down) and still get the significance of the song, it's meaning and the importance of it to our history. I think it was a wonderful nod in the connection of Germany and Korea as we believe one day Korea will be able to do what we achieved - reunite the two countries. A very bold choice of KBS tbh. To my surprise and disappointment, many people around me didn't know the song. :( The girl next to me asked why he is covering this, what this has to do with Germany and K-Pop, and why the clips of the Wall? Foreigners in front of me yelled sth like ROCK'N'ROLL BABY, when the Cover was finished they said sth along the lines they were disappointed it wasn't a fast song he did cover. I found this quite disrespectful... I just can post my 2 Cents here. I am grateful KBS made this possible and that Chanyeol did this Cover greatly. It's beyond me why they only upload a cut Version.

For almost 30 years we have been able to say this again in Germany and to see how North and South Korea have come together this year has made me think of the year 1989.
