Burton was indeed the heart of FF. Just as Dino is the driving force. (Tho I still hold they did Christian and Ray dirty) His voice was signature. And agreed there will never be anyone to take away his legacy..... That being said....Burton was total $#!+ live. Dude hasn't been able to sing cleans without autotune since archetype. And each time he tried, his voice would crack and crumble live and just ruin the enjoyment for me. Plus the last 2 records and tours.....he admitted he no longer wished to be involved in FF. So im all for the decision for him to retire and FF hire a dude that can sing like Burton used to. Time will tell if he can reach the bar set by BCB, but I think the change is a good one.
@@bathroommagic7303 What you wrote down here is the truth Burton has issues i saw it to sing live but if you look he is over 50 years old i think and the music is over the years really extreme for me the Mechanize album was a killer record i saw it live over 12 years ago with my girlfriend and brother and my best buddy it was such a damn good performance from Burton i will never forget there was everything ok milo is just singing the song and he is much younger after burton left i m done with fear factory such are great years for my with burton sing zero signal what is on the soundtrack from Mortal kombat great memories look Judas Priest or iced earth Tim Ripper Ovens he cant replace halford or Barlow

This guy is much better than Burton at everything what a proper singer must do live. I'm saying this as a professional metal\clean voice singer. Burton was always nothing as a real singer, all those studio records are mostly the good work of sound engineers. Everyone who is high skilled in playing metal music will confirm that. Burton's tone is ugly and unnatural because of the wrong position and always trying to scream at the top of his lungs but not sing, that's the reason why he always failed live and this is not the problem of his age, this is his stupid approach to vocal technique. Burton is the heart, yeah, of fake singing and fan froud. I'd never pay money for his live performances because they are for those who do not have ears.. or brain. Can't replace everyone says? This 'everyone' is of that type who votes for Biden and his mafia accepting them as mentally sane personalities. Not everyone for sure.
