Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

I like how he manages to play 3 bases at once...
He had all those spaces and didnt managed them correctly. Could use the top base as a energy-gen-base. Expand and attack or you will die!
Exactly what an idiot, cant win a 4v1, he did work for only like 3 people at once. In a way you could hear his fingers breaking on the keyboard/s

You ought to put the EMP tower at the very top of your base, and put all your important stuff in the little sliver of not-doom. That way, you can pew-pew them without being pew'd.
If he places it so his core is there his base isn't rendered useless.

@@cronos351 wouldnt say that incursus is dumb, when not knowing the exact mechanics of a new thing he tries... would be the same as saying you are dumber than incursus cause he would probably kick your ass in a 1v1 on forts^^

The emp tower emps everything thats not directly next to it or underneath it. So the most effective place would be at the top front of your base so your weapons are underneath it and uneffected by it. Or have it take up space right behind your weapons next to your core. Not ideal spots but i like the risk/reward factor
You want to wait until your rockets are moving toward the target before emping them. The emp knocks out their targeting systems. That's why you got the spiral of self destruction from the last one.
I imagine that is what the tiny cone of safety is for???? The rockets might still have guidance if the tower was placed over top of the silos.
@@wisnoskij but the missiles launch upwards. Place the tower to close and you damage it instead of your enemies.
@@jeremycharles1191 Place the tower next to the launch silo, it has both a small circle around the top and a downward aimed cone.
Isnt the targeting caused by the sniper?
So I guess you need to put sniper in the safe cone, to have nuke targetting during EMP
@@hubertnnn the sniper 'paints' the target with his laser sight, while the missiles aim for where the laser dot is. But if the missiles are hit by an EMP, it knocks the aiming computer out.

EMP tower does not use any metal. It uses 25 POWER. It was written under the tower when you selected it. So that whole metal thing was not required. I think that with so much metal you will actually get a big boost cause in usual games you get aornd 25+ metal with same area while here you got 46+

You can both see and hear him getting more and more focused, his voice and words don't change but he moves the camera in a very snappy way and you can hear his keyboard and mouse more clearly since he is pressing them harder, it's interesting to see him entering "tryhard mode".
EMPing a rocket makes it do what it did in the video. Playing the commander ‘seep’ makes the missile lock onto your base too.
Incursus, the EMP tower is supposed to be on top!!! That is why there is a little sliver of empty space where you won't be affected by the EMP!!!!!
A valiant effort and a great show of strategy. Took over 2 of the 3 dead teammate's bases and stood up to that much incoming fire? That's impressive.

These could actually be really useful for taking down doored AA. Just fire a volley or two, hop on your sniper, and blown them to bits.

use pegiuns to draw machine gun fire, distracting them to allow moartars, rockets, etc. to get thru
The Emp has an area around the top and a cone below it where the EMP doesn't effect things, so if you had say an upgraded 20mm than you could emp and be able to launch the Nuke with no resistance
Oh, and the Emp throws off the targeting weapons

Incursus, I have enjoyed A LOT of this video, it is better than some movies: it has funny moments, need to think parts, tention also as wisdom words (about shield against atomic cannon), some regular forts life episods, some teammates work together and teammates left a protagonist alone - so full drama and all deep shit. I've laughed, conciously watched and cried at the end realizing you don't set the metal shield accepting the fate.

I think penguins are actually a tactical advantage when your enemy is using AA, especially flak.
If you fire a warhead, and before the AA targets it you fire a penguin, the AA will target the penguin and the warhead will (might) get through

The emp tower has a blind spot below it. It doesn't shut down your derrick. You should put it on top of your base.

yeah. their guidance gets stuck, so if it was turning, it keeps turning. I suspected as much when he emp'd them in their silos and they didn't fire, and it got confirmed later.

Try using the emp tower when the enemy is about to shoot you with all the death, and just stop them.
