Great video! Do you have any advice for when people run double-crosser routes. So many times I play someone and I can't manually card both of them and they just pick whichever one I don't. Is there a coverage adjustment that I can make? Even cross Manning my safeties doesn't seem to help

Brian Smith in Big Nickel over G, i put my CBs in deep halves, cross man the safeties, put LBs in cloud or hard flats, and user the nickel safety. That set up locks the typical Pats Sail with the deep crosser. Most other plays don’t have 2 crossers, so as long as you have the slot receiver cross manned, you’ll never get beat over top
Jakob Koenig me too. I use one a lot too. Especially when ppl try to run on the ppl like Golf or Wentz. I be hitting them when they rollout waiting for they receiver to get open.
Well if you were paying attention, I was showcasing how the zones work to stop certain routes. I'm not going to take off with Wentz when I'm allowing the zones to develop for demonstration purposes. In a real game just throw a dlineman into a spy, problem solved.
i beleive it's consistent cause LB's have vert's of 9 feet and a wingspan of about 28. And they can catch tyreek hill from behind in the legend gauntlet solo. it was a fun one. Good Info though bro, always do an amazing job explaining things to idiots such as me. :)
BiggZae Beats cover 3 In general is a zone defense. Cover 1 is the man version of cover 3. They’re both single high safety defenses. In cover 1, the free safety roams and helps anyone who needs help while everyone else is playing man. In cover 3, your 2 outside corners and free safety are playing deep routes, and your linebackers play zone underneath and your strong safety play the flats
What about playing all madden cpu why does it feel like they call the exact play to counter your defense and why does it seem like they throw the ball faster than human you have less time to react to get picks
Hey Eric, When I send the QB spy to get the QB and I’m usering a linebacker I get a funny hit stick animation and my linebacker falls to the floor. Do you know any way to avoid the linebacker falling?
I don’t know if it’s the best defense, but Tampa 2 was getting torched in a game this weekend. I switched to Cover 4 Drop with press and shade underneath. Seemed to do the trick. Got three interceptions after that.

When I see guys have their DTs or even have 3 out of 4 down lineman spy to play pass coverage I take it as a joke because that shows me you can’t play. You can’t cover so you have to resort to unrealistic tactics to stay in the game it’s crazy
It's a shame EA Sports took away player rankings in Madden. Haven't been into playing the game ever since & i have over 360 wins. Way to drive away one of your most die-hard fans, EA.
More like right around 305 losses. I was well over .500 and ranked in the top 500. All that hard work and grinding just for EA to take away my ranking.

When people do qb spy on me via calling the same defensive plays or manual doing so, I often run right at it and gain a nice amount of yards.

Stock cover 9 will defend trips te crossers.
Or you adjust the outside cb on an outside third,the right safety on an outside third and the other safety on a deep half and user the other crosser

Brian Smith get faster safeties. cross manning them definitely works. i use Deion and Champ at safety, because i man then every play

Being a user on defense, how does one know what coverage the cpu covers vs what i should or shouldnt cover?
Hold right trigger and up on right stick. It will show u the zones including yours
But sometimes u just have to know

Time to time yes, because a decent opponent who is decent at reads pre snap will recognize your tendencies and will burn you with a cover 2 beater
