Chapter 4 is subjectively (and objectively) the best chapter in zzz. Also I desperately want a Full Length version of Nobody Rides Like Johnny or at the very minimum release the bit that they have
The story is so well set up. Like yeah it starts slow, dropping little hints to the larger story here an there but ultimately just setting up characters so the player can get comfortable in the game. And then by chapter 4 we get the bigger lore drops just before getting into the larger characters of H.A.N.D. Particularly with Miyabi's connection to the old capital, we're really starting to get into the thick of it. Miyabi's mother is actually named in the lore video as one of the original void hunters. Personally I think the proxy's teacher had something to do with the detonation of the pillars to stop the expansion of Hollow Zero and thus the blame for the "fall of the old capital" is misplaced as the city was still lost to the hollow/destroyed. I could just be misreading some things but I think it might be a "she didn't save the city itself but saved the opportunity for a new city" by stopping Hollow Zero's expansion at the expense of Eridu.
@ I now realize this with Miyabi’s video that just came out. The time between Eridu and New Eridu does not seem to be that long. Considering the proxy isn’t that old yet lived in Eridu.
Billy might be hiding his strength, so a s rank possible. Anby might be hiding hermpower too, so i can see her maybe get a S rank version. Nichole somfar, the only unsure of , but it be interesting to see what they do with it in the future.
There was also an Intro-Knot post talking about her fairly early on in the game. Granted, how many people would actually pay attention to all the non-Mission posts on Inter-Knot anyway? Given the number of players who have the mindset of "If they aren't talking, I ain't paying attention," I wouldn't be surprised....
I just figured she has Turner's Syndrome. A rare real life condition (occurs in only 1 in every 2000 female babies) that leads to women who end up looking very young for the rest of their lives. Piper does actually have one of the other common symptoms in her drooping eyelids.
Wish I had managed to catch this stream live for this discussion at 1:19:15. Both Billy and Anby have backgrounds that lead me to believe we might get s-ranks for both of them. Billy was known and feared during his time in the Outer Ring, and from S11's teaser we know Anby was the one trying to teach her, with the whole thing of S11 remembering her advice and ignoring it, so Anby also probably used to be way stronger than she seems right now.
fun stream - the lore part at the end was interesting so far my guess/theory is though just rather simple/basic belle/wise are "(potential) sacrifices" too thats why they had that reaction in the ch2 boss fight that institute where they lived most likely created them/experimented on them and their mentor found out or wanted to stop it thats why they used (or even blamed) the fall of old eridu to take her out and ruin all her credibility... (would be fun if she is victoria housekeeping's secret client in the end...) mfg Olli

I’m a lore junkie, I read every dialogue box and description I can find and then hunt for more. I also really like the TV mode, it’s unique and creative. But I feel that the TV mode functions best outside of the main story where they have more freedom to be creative with the puzzles and mechanics. Stuff like Arpeggio Fault and the one the secret mission where you had to dive down as many floors as possible show what they can do when they’re unrestricted, but i can’t see those working well with the main story.

Her EX Special is a counter, meaning that it isn't quite as useful if you are just firing it off as soon as you have enough bar. Not to mention the skill is a two hit combo, meaning that it has an extension to it if you double click the skill button.
You're right, Billy the Kid, the guy who likes Power Rangers-like shows and goes around being a naïve goofball sounds great. Old VA was fine as well but a younger sounding Billy works great.
