Army, this is the stuff that you should be advertising.
Funny thing is they do when they need to recruit but they make it look horrible when they actually have a surplus of recruiting it's a dual edged sword but they've been screwing the balance up recently

And now I walk on the grass that you once held so sacred. Jokes aside idk how someone stays airborne that long. I’ve been airborne for a bit over two years and I’m already developing some pretty fun back and knee problems and I’ve gotten an inch and a half shorter. After this contract imma just go be a leg in Germany for a couple years and then bounce. Props to you for staying with it. Ain’t the life for me.

Did you see a woman here?
I was a dummy jumper for the Golden Knights out of a C123 back in 1977. A windy day in Osh Kosh. They delayed their jumps because I landed about a half mile away from where I should have been. They did adjust, and the fans loved the show.
I remember last 36 years

I remember being a dummy jumper for Wilbur and Orvile Wright. I will never forget the winds that day at Kitty Hawk. Had a cross wind of 103 mph. I jumped anyway. The wind was so strong that I landed in Washington state. To this day I thank God that I wasn't a towed jumper on that historic moment. Did I mention that my chute was burlap bags coated with a mixture if whale blubber and things used in the GoLo weight loss program of today? The ASL ( above sea level) was 10 feet and we flew nape of the beach for 120 feet. Never so scared in my life. We actually made the cover of Time magazine and the bikini edition of Sports Illustrated for being the three most eligible bachelor's on the planet. Ahh, those were the days.

I'm terrified of heights and volunteered to go airborne. It was just my luck, my first jump i was the first out the door. So, i had to stand in the doorway suffering , looking at the ground until it was go-time. I remember shutting my brain down and jumped.
Fu** me too took all I could do to keep my knees from knocking. Lol I hated that shit.

Congratulations!
lol..me too I was supposed to be #7 on my stick, I was sitting next to the door and they picked me for #1 ,I was shaking so bad my helmet was wobbling just looking down 7000 ft. When they said go, before I knew it I was out of the door, arms and legs flailing causing me to spin, to this day I can still see the blur of the aircraft going by. I had a good openning, though I was still spinning only slowing as the risers started to push my chin into my chest. I started to get a queezy stomach when finally it finally stopped. Then it started to unwind spinning me the opposite way. Yeah the first jump sucked. The best part of jumping is when after all of the commotion of exiting the aircraft is the peaceful silence and slow drift back to earth... except for the occasional paniked scream of Slip Away !
My second jump the grabbed me back at the end of the end of the DZ. I had to ride a big circle just inside the turning side door watching some farmer plowing a field. The butterfly were going crazy but my mind enjoyed the interesting view.
Loved the feeling of riding a parachute down to a controlled collision with mother Earth.

Ah yes, the non service related reason my knees and back snap, crackle, and pop.
You guys need to stop complaining about this now, if you choose to be in the military it demands alot from your body, you don't go into basketball then be surprised later down the line that your knees are hurting, it's expected and you don't end up going to your coach demanding that the team pay you for your knees hurting because you chose to play basketball. Same thing applies to Military. People leaving the military and complaining no wander they didn't stay because they couldn't cut it. Any normal person would slap on knee support, pop a painkiller and train to strengthen his body.
Agree!!👍👍
