"The closer I can get to nothing is where everything is." I swear, hearing her say that just now almost got me as emotional as watching the show itself.
I really love the fact that Kate likes to have the background and a lot of details about the characters that she plays. That's why she's so good at her performances. I really like and enjoy her work. Amazing interview. Kisses from Brazil!
Really? I was disappointed. Every episode before that was great then I felt let down. It didn’t come full circle like Hill House or Bly. It’s not a bad series by any means I was just disappointed.
I would have liked to see those deleted scenes with Erin figuring out that Bev killed Pike and talking about leaving her abusive husband. Edit: I LOVE that Flanagan and the other show runners fought to keep those actors’ pauses in. It makes the whole thing feel more natural. I adore that about Flanagan’s style. This interview was very illuminating to me for the series and Siegel’s work. Thank you for this gift :). PS Kate, you fuckin nailed the final scene. That was the hardest, most beautiful scene I’ve ever scene in my life. I have never cried harder while watching something. It was BRILLIANT.
a deep, thought-provoking poetry about faith & death, or a beautifully written tale of justification of extremism in religion, ‘penunggang agama’; Midnight Mass is a masterpiece.
to be COMPLETELY honest romantically i did do/or will SOMEWHAT like mara webster because she's LITERALLY always had and still has an EQUALLY attractive face and i did do and/or will really LOVE kate siegel because she's LITERALLY always had and still has an EQUALLY attractive face to go along with her first name being kate
Annie and Bev had the best dialogue near the end "I wanna tell you something that I think you've been needing to hear all of your life. You're not a good person!" I really connected with that scene, but really hated this series. It was awful!

So fascinating! I took her calm/settled “angel moment” as her having experienced similar situations with her abusive husband.
This is a great interview, great questions and insights ❤❤❤
Last episode got my throat the tightest knot ever. Unforgettably beautiful
