It takes 690 tokens to max a legendary hero....so between 77 and 690 days depending on how many tokens you received a day. You can also get Velyn in the normal gold chests, so this number will go down according to how many times he come ups.
Not as simple as constantly refreshing troops. Stamina must be considered when in a long war. Stamina consumption is lower when getting into engagements after your legion has already been in one. Sending back to base reset that. Costing another 10 stamina to get into an engagement

My lilya is maxed and my velyn is 5544 with 50 velyn sculptures then I'm going too season 2 in 5 days I have hosk 5111 and kinara 3000 but ill max hosk next season and work on kinara after velyn
as most players focus mages I think is wise to go for archers . archers will counter mages in pvp, have greater damage output and are useful in behemoths aswell

I disagree that you should only focus on one hero pair and troop type. I think you should at least play 1 inf, 1 archer, 1 mage march just to profit from all buildings training nonstop, and then you should take two more of whatever troop type you want to focus on, I would personally run 3 inf cuz Im an inf player, with 1 archer 1 mage
you need to level up your heroes more, and not let you cp bar be as full. just take your liliya velyn and kill darklings every time the bar is full, or take multiple marches and level multiple up. having the extra 10 talent points and capacity is a big limiting factor to your combat effectiveness. gathering is another way to experience on your commanders. Books dont do much, darklings are the best source, making use of it i have 12 level 60 heroes on a younger server than you. if you only use those two every day for darklings you will hit level cap in the first week after reset.
you are thinking too much in RoK terms. maxing 1 march is not a bad idea but I think going for 2-3 marches was already Meta in later RoK days.. even for low spenders. 5111 nico Kinara is way more than enough

this will work only for 1-2 hours and then u got no more stamina.

Season 2 will be double the march sizes. So 250k will just be over a full march with maxed out mage heroes, castle, and policies.

Vestals are the best. I'm also primarily focused on Liliya and Velyn, although I am giving Theia some love for the celestials.

You should unlock Indys via dragon trail and you will have your gatherer
