Just to be clear, the reason I kept saying "stop smiling" and that I wished I was more stonefaced during the later parts of the run is because I was worried smiling would make me more prone to laughing and end up making me play worse, not necessarily because I dislike my smile

I would just like to point something out. If you glitch your way to fight bowser with Yoshi then when Bowser shoots fire and it turns into coins then one of the coins will also be a cap that turns you into Mario, Luigi or Wario. If you could achieve this then you wont need to go to the goomboss level and you'll save at least a minute and a half in time. Now heres the issue, I saw that you got into the final bowser level by grabbing the rabbit, well when Yoshi grabs the rabbit with its mouth it asks him to not eat him and spits him out, If you could possible get the last glitch to work and then depending on how long bowser takes to spit out fire I think you still could get at least a minute off. But that really depends on if the last glitch will work with Yoshi, I think it might if you eat the rabbit in the right spot. Edit: ignore me Im an idiot, I just realised you need to unlock Mario for the rabbits to spawn.

With tunneling, you don't need the rabbits right? So is a yoshi solo run actually possible?
Bowser's fire only turns into a cap if you've already unlocked the corresponding character, so if only yoshi is unlocked the game crashes

You need mario unlocked to actually beat bowser, and there’s no reason to switch back to yoshi after unlocking mario
