    What about amico/a?
    Also, in America we use big and little to describe older and younger. For example, my big sister is shorter than I am, but she's older. Is this what you mean by sorellina and sorellona?

    • @italianlanguagehub

      Ciao! You will say “il mio amico” / “la mia amica”. Sorellina / sorellona is only linked to age ☺️

    Grazie, Giulia.

      Ciao! Direi che è più preciso! Grazie per avermelo fatto notare! ☺️ ps: sorellina oppure fratellino (sorellino non esiste☺️)

    Ciao, Giulia! Grazie mille!

      Ciao!

    ‘Zio Mario vive a Roma’ or ‘Lo zio Mario vive a Roma?

    • @italianlanguagehub

      colloquially speaking both are accepted. It's more common to hear "lo zio Mario vive a Roma"
