I love these ideas! Especially the read aloud ideas. I'd heard of some but some are new to me! Right now we're reading The Lion The Witch, and the Wardrobe.

Loved this! We have used some of these and loved them. I'd also recommend for picture books for older kids is An Orange for Frankie, The Quiltmakers gift, The sparkle box is good too but probably similar to the hay one you have.
I’ve heard of these but haven’t read them…I do want to add a couple of more titles to our collection!
Love this video!! I may check some of these out for future years! We have our plans for this Christmas season already including doing our advent stories as part of our channel every day this year!
Thanks for these recommendations! We almost went w Gather Round Christmas but went w Campfire Christmas instead this year. We start on Monday and my kids cant wait! Maybe we'll try Gather Round next year 😊

No Higher Calling has a book about Christmas hymns I believe. I'm not sure how long or in depth it is.
