My son has also always been ahead in math. Every year I say… well if he needs to slow down he can… but he never has. He is going into Precalculus next year for 9th grade but I remember when he was little and saying that every single year. I was always just blown away. I’ve been watching you since you announced you were pregnant with Wesley. I can’t believe he’s now going into first grade!
Do you usually finish teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons, or do you move from that at the end of kindergarten into the readers you showed? Thanks!
we'll be doing first grade this year! using math with confidence (halfway done with 1 and will move to 2) and all about reading 2. We'll also be doing schoolhouse discovery units and some other "fill in" LA like explode the code, notebooking, word ladders, phonics decoder pages and a writing supplement book. I like to have options and change it up for him so it's not too repetitive.
Do you spine the books yourself at home? If so what do you use? I've purchased a few in the past for my homeschool room and have returned them because I didn't like them lol
