what is the expansion difference on a 20' length? How does the two compare with corrosion say a few miles inland of NC coast. Will one last longer than the other, same with colored finishes? Thanks for the info, I'm in a learning curve since metal roofs are extremely rare and expensive in Northern California. Moving to East coast in next few years (Jacksonville, NC)
Both offer excellent R-value for the homeowner. The bigger difference between those two roofing systems would be in maintenance, which an aluminum roofing system requires far less than does ceramic tile.
Yes, there are only certain panel profiles with specific installation methods that will work with a low slope application. If your roof is completely flat, you should consider a material designed for flat roofing. Hope this helps! -Thad
