- a project that two years ago I had intended to complete but due to various problems, related not so much to the size of the project which had 17 episodes as to the increase of beta leaked pokemon, I have decided to permanently publish it as it was, as I no longer have the availability to put my hand to it again.
Two years ago I was really determined to want to complete all the episodes (I will post the soundtracks of the whole project later) but now it is really impossible for me to get my hands on it again.
I am sorry to have released the project in a still rough and unpolished state, I would have liked to give and give you more.
I hope you at least enjoy these few surviving episodes.

This is such an adorable take on eternatus. Arriving in a younger state and growing into the form we see in game after being confined for hundreds of years
I think I could come up with something.
Long ago, Little Eternatus was traveling across the universe on a meteor. At the time, he was small, the way many start out. However, Little Eternatus had a great big wish, which he told to the stars, the only company he had.
“Oh beautiful stars,” he said, “for an untold amount of time you have brought me light and hope, reminding me that I am not alone. Even so, I wish for more. I wish to find new home, one where I can make lots of friends, see lots of things, and feel less little.”
The stars did not answer, but continued to shine brightly, which brought Little Eternatus enough comfort to help him fall asleep.
When Little Eternatus woke up, he couldn’t believe his eyes. He saw a great big planet with all sorts of different colors. It was blue, it was green, it was brown, it was white, but most importantly of all, it seemed right.
Eager to leave his meteorite, Little Eternatus readied himself and leapt without looking back.
As Little Eternatus fell, he knew that he had made the right choice. He saw all sorts of things, but he fell too fast to appreciate them. As he left the crater, he decided that he wanted to get a better look at the new world.
However, things weren’t that easy. It wasn’t too long before Little Eternatus found out just how scary the new world was. He encountered many dangerous pokemon, ones that wanted to hurt Little Eternatus. Though Little Eternatus was fast, running away made him feel little. Once again, Little Eternatus had a great big wish, which he told to the stars, the only ones he felt safe with.
“Oh numerous stars,” he cried, “you have brought me to this big and beautiful world. Even so, I wish for more. I wish I was big and strong enough to protect myself, admire the world you’ve brought me to, and make feel less little.”
The stars did not answer, but continued to shine brightly, which brought Little Eternatus enough comfort to help him fall asleep.
When Little Eternatus woke up, he could hardly believe his eyes. He was big, bigger than some of the trees around him. Now, Little Eternatus could admire the new world without being afraid.
Little Eternatus saw many things. He saw mountains, he saw valleys, he saw tundras, he saw deserts, and so much more. During his travels, Little Eternatus was able to use his size and strength to help other little pokemon and became their friend. Each time he made a new friend, Little Eternatus would allow them to ride on his back so they could travel with him. As time passed, his friends grew, and soon could no longer fit on his back, making him feel small. Once again, Little Eternatus had a great big wish, which he told to the stars, the only ones he didn’t have to carry.
“Oh independent stars,” he whispered, “You have granted me the size strength I needed to travel around the world and make many friends. Even so, I wish for more. I wish for my friends to be big and strong enough to keep up with me, defend themselves, and make me feel so little.”
The stars did not answer, but continued to shine brightly, which brought Little Eternatus enough comfort to help him fall asleep.
When Little Eternatus woke up, he could hardly believe his eyes. His friends had grown. Some of them were even bigger than he was. However, as they were about to leave, one of them spoke up.
“Now that we’re big and strong,” one of them said, “why don’t we get our revenge on those who made us feel small?”
“That’s not a bad idea,” said another, “but Little Eternatus is smaller and weaker than rest of us. He might have a hard time keeping up.”
“Well we can’t leave him behind,” said a third, “Think about how much he has done for us.”
The group agreed and decided to spend the rest of the day testing out their newfound strength. The thought of holding his friends back from what would make them happy made Little Eternatus feel small. Once again, Little Eternatus had a great big wish, which he told to the stars, the only ones who never felt weak.
“Oh unsurpassable stars,” he sighed, “You have granted my friends great size and strength. Even so, I wish for more. I wish to be strong enough to accompany them- no, to lead them to what they want, to hurt those who tried to hurt us, and to feel less little.”
The stars did not answer, but continued to shine brightly, which brought Little Eternatus enough comfort to help him fall asleep.
The next morning, Little Eternatus awoke to the sound of thunder and couldn’t believe his eyes. He saw that the sky had become dark with clouds, but more importantly he saw that he had grown once again. He was now big and strong enough to lead his friends to victory.
Or so he thought.
Little Eternatus and his friends so big and strong that he got the attention of two big bad wolves, who wanted nothing more than to stop him and his friends from being happy.
“We will not let you destroy the world!” one of the wolves growled, “Your reign of terror ends here!”
The second wolf was carrying a weird stick in her mouth, so it was hard for Little Eternatus to understand what she was saying. However, he knew that it wasn’t anything good.
The big bad wolves charged forward, defeating Little Eternatus’s friends with ease. Seeing how swiftly his friends lost made Little Eternatus feel small. Once again, Little Eternatus had a great big wish, which he told to the stars, the only ones who had never felt fear.
“Oh unrivaled stars,” he roared, “you-“
“Fool!” taunted the first wolf, “You cannot even see the sky, let alone the stars! What makes you think they can hear you?”
Though Little Eternatus did not give up and put up a good fight, injuring the wolves in the process, he was defeated in the end. As he returned to a smaller size, he began to feel little. Now, Little Eternatus bore a great big grudge, which he expressed to the stars, the only ones who never felt hate.
“Deceitful stars,” he snarled, “The planet you have brought me to is harsh and unforgiving. The power you have granted amounted to nothing. Neither me nor my friends were able to defend ourselves in the end. Even now, I still feel little.”
The stars did not answer, but continued to shine brightly, almost as if taunting Little Eternatus during his misery. Eternatus went to sleep, hoping that he would feel better the next time he woke up.

This is Pokemon Generations of beta pokemon... The script, visuals and animation are in another level... This is not just a fan animation... This feel like truly Pokemon project... Its AMAZING...

The skeleton dinosaur betamon was definitely one of my favourites from that leak. Glad to see it and the scrapped Tangela evo here, love that one too.
I call them Maxilladon and Jungela respectively.

Holy cow, you may see it as unfinished but the level of polish here is insane. I feel like I'm lucky enough to be afforded a glimpse into an alternate reality where these were the Pokemon we ended up with and this is the anime we got. What a love letter to the designs that never quite were!

Despite this only being out for like half a day, I must've rewatched this about 50 times! The artistry, storytelling and sound design are all phenomenal. Watching these, you've managed to re-capture (pun intended) and inspire that feeling and excitement you'd have playing Pokemon as a kid, imagining all the possibilities if they were real. I hadn't felt that excitement of "what if" in a while, so I thank you for that! You've made these Betamon look and feel more alive than I think GameFreak has made Pokémon feel in their games, I hope you're proud of what you've made, 100% completed or not, I'd say you've made something truly amazing.
i don't know what to say, thank you really❤❤, it repays me for all the work done two years ago! the what ifs in this context come in very handy to be able to fantasize about the pokemon world and the beta pokemon definitely lend a hand in this

I understand why you may drop projects for multiple reasons been there, but I just wanted to say, it is a bit of a bummer to hear this won't be moving forward. Just cause I can tell every scene was full of love for the beta designs and pkmn in general. From what looks like water color, or just really well made painted backgrounds, to the very fluid, life like animations of all the mons. This truly is an incredible tribute to the lost betas, and lost mons of pkmn history. It also reminded me that EternaFish existed and I am always grateful to be reminded of that funky looking beta fish (pun intended >:] ).
Wow, these were incredible! Morning Sun, Judgement, and Eternabeam were my favorites, but I loved all of them. Seeing stuff like this really inspires me to create projects of my own. Excellent job, I can't imagine the work that went into these animations.

Edit: Really love the take on Arceus and Giratina. It could be like an original form of Arceus when it created the world and how Giratina looked before banishing.

I love this ! Now I want to go in alternate universe where these Pokemons aren't scrapped
In weird kinda meta way- The theory of all pokemon games taking place in different universes and worlds and wormholes makes sense considering how many pokemon designs were left at the waist side.
In that way, the scrapped pokemon designs ARE the pokemon the people like Oak, Colres and others mention about possibly existing but with no way of knowing about or even ever seeing them.
A whole universe or all new mons and even UBs, never to be experienced.
Very interesting, but I think you forgot to add the beta version of Rhydon, since he is the first Pokémon ever created, but other than that the animation is very good ;).
There actually were quite a few animations like this floating around in the early years before anything was finalized that had very similar vibes.
I need the Kazoo Bird to come back in the future, that design is so funny. Same with that flower goat guy.

Great video. But can you tell us what happened that makes you unable to continue the project and get your hands on it?
@@danielmalinen6337 I am a single animator, with a project in mind that involved 16 episodes with music composed by me ( mash ups to be precise) showing the various beta pokemon released and those from the leaks, which were about circa 170 pokemon in all. Then various life issues pulled me away from the project and I was no longer able to complete it, also complicit in the size and complexity of the project itself.
With teraleak the number of betas increased dramatically. at this point I decided to abandon the project, because sure I would have liked to implement new ones, but with what time and strength?😵💫
I want to do other things, the idea of being alone, working for years on the same topic, does not appeal to me. As long as it was just the gigaleak pokemon okay, but now there 're way too many and I would like to focus on other projects.
And I say this with a weeping heart, I really wanted to complete it....💔

@@imnino70 si, clip studio paint per le animazioni, e un po di post produzione su after effect. Ho imparato da autodidatta.
Per un episodio ci impiegavo un tempo che andava dalle 2 alle 3 settimane , a volte ne bastava anche una sola, dipendeva dall' episodio in sè e dal fatto che non usassi così tanti fotogrammi quindi il processo d'animazione era piuttosto veloce.

Io mi definisco programmatore informatico e lavoro per la STMicroelectronics di Catania (mi piace molto scrivere codice, in particolare con il linguaggio Java) ma mi piacerebbe avere la forza di volontà di studiare le tecniche del disegno e i software per realizzare animazioni. Purtroppo la forza di volontà mi manca sia perché lavoro anche nei giorni festivi (per mia spontanea volontà) e sia perché quando non lavoro mi rilasso del tutto o mi dedico alla mia famiglia. Mesi fa ho scritto il testo di una canzone, poi un sito di intelligenza artificiale (suno punto com) mi ha generato la canzone (base e voce) e mi sarebbe piaciuto diventasse la sigla di un cartone di un unico episodio simil Anime giapponese robotico di cui avevo scritto una piccola trama con me cone protagonista. Sogni, solo sogni 😁 Sarebbe bello se tu facessi dei tutorial sull'animazione riprendendoti nel mentre disegni con la penna grafica.
