these include Dhyanam,Aavahanam,Aasanam,paadyam,Arghyam ,madhuparkam,snanam,vastram,upaveetam,Aabharanam,Chandanam,Kumkumam,Archanam,,Dhoopam,Deepam,Neivedyam,
Tamboola,Karpoora Neerajanam,.
This is followed by Pradakshinam and Namaskara.

Wonderful video, Gitaji. You have explained the ritual so beautifully. If all we do is light a lamp, keep a flower and do an Aarti, God will be happy. In today's frenetic world if young people even sit for a while and do Maanasa Pooja it will go a long way in keeping the tradition alive and bringing them joy.

Madam, I am watching few of your videos since a week. All your videos are useful and really no words to express the happiness that I got after watching it. You are a divine soul, mother seeking happiness of all new and younger generation. I saw your Pooja room tour and next watched day 1 of your Navratri Pooja. As I faced horoscope issues for delay in my marriage, one of our priest in a Vishnu temple near to my home, said my mother to buy me a book from Vijaya Pathipagam about a book called Pooja Vidhimurai and follow the rules in that and do Somvar vrat Pooja. The book was in Tamil and Sanskrit language, I bought it and read the chapter 16 upacharas, I was wondering what they are but your video gave me practical demo of what those 16 upacharas are all about. Thank you so much for your service. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every human should know meaning of each Pooja rituals and pray God for the well being of an individual and the world.

With deep respect to my northern state & northen style of living, I just could not resist by saying in between watching the video that THIS IS WHY I LOVE SOUTH, so grounded in roots & culture. My first visit to a south Indian temple made me really fall in love & respect south india even more, i have always loved the delicacies of South but the way the pandits were doing puja and including me was so nice because here in North especially where I live Pandits are only concernced with money, if u give them money they will look at you otherwise they will not even look at you.
So profoundly you are explaining the 16 steps of inviting & honouring Maa Durga. I would love to learn from you Gita Ji how to do pujan in a proper manner to honour and pray to Maa Durga. It is my good fate and maa durga's grace that I get to learn from a lovely lady like you. Also I must confess as well that the puja is a very private affair,atleast to me so I never like to watch videos saying how to do puja nor to copy what others do but this video opened my eyes to honour Maa in this way. one of my favourite festivals is Navratri so Thank you gita ji for this🙏
