Hey David, not yanking your chain but that thing you call a timing gear is actually the cam shaft with timing gear attached. Also, I was disappointed that you did not show your method for removing the crankshaft bearings. I did appreciate you showing your method for removing the valve spring retainers.
Hi David, I have acquired an OS 70 Surpass which has a hairline crack in the crankcase. I would greatly appreciate you letting me know where you get your parts from as I am having a real tough time finding a replacement crankcase. Thanks in advance Chris
how much did this rebuild cost? I have the same engine from a plane I bought from a guy a year back that I retired. The engine looks about the same and everything seems to work fine but i'm wondering how much it would be to have you look over it and clean it up a bit?
David, I have a Saito FA125 AAC. Do you work on other people's engines? If so, how much would you charge to replace the bearings (I will furnish the bearings), the piston ring, clean the valves, clean the engine and muffler and re-assemble. Thanks, Hank, Lubbock, TX

No I have not. RC boating was never something that I had any interest in nor have I ever lived in a place where doing that would have been convenient.
