You do a great job shining a beautiful light on Mali and Africa in general. When African history is so buried away from the mainstream. Many Blessings.
Please make a video on how you prepare for each of these travels, vaccines, cost, guides..it would be interesting to see a itinerary video snd after thst a travel vlog
You took us on an Amazing journey! I feel like I actually have been transported! What a beautiful and special country! Thank you for creating this video and sharing your experiences!❤ I loved and enjoyed it so much!
Definitely interested in a special order of the beautiful fabric, please and thank you! I really love your videos and hope one day my children and I could visit a country like this. I have been really struggling in my life and your videos are a ray of sunshine. They also help put reality into perspective. Thank you!!!
You have a deep empathy for everyone you visit and I love that...the only way travel should be done but you're the only one doing it ❤️ Definitely interested in those fabrics....they are absolutely incredible and the very definition of sustainable ❤ ❤
Thank u so much I feel lucky I get to see what I do! I am really hoping to make this a reality I’ve been trying to find sustainable pants and tops which is so hard. If anything I want to find someone who can make them using fair labor so I can ensure they will fit people according to a proper sizing, and then bring them to Mali myself. Maybe a long project 😂
thank you sososooo much for sharing your journey!!! it’s amazing to have the chance to see such things ❤❤ i love your style!! the editing, the way you speak, the lack of music!!! i love your open mindedness instead of demonizing traditional sacred beliefs. instead of calling it silly, demonic, or anything like that. i’d love to see you one day explore native american beliefs and ceremon. all are welcome at the powwows!!!
Every country culture & religion has beauty in it. Thank you for this long form vid. One of my faves & yes i would love to buy one of the sustainable fabric designs
Mali and going to Timbuktu has been on my list since childhood. I’d planned to spend 2 months in West Africa in 2020, but “Rona” made that too complicated. I need to regain my courage to travel outside of my typical comfort zone. It needs to be expanded. This video was so great! Thank you!
I hope you get to go! I am trying to plan a visit for myself so I can share logistics and contacts because I’ve heard things are getting a lot better (and aren’t $2000 for 1 day anymore!)
@@Chloejadetravels The cost might be for security and more advanced transportation, plus extra pocket money for the government? It’s crazy how the conditions for areas can change so drastically, in a short period of time. It shows, it’s more of a transient (hopefully) political situation, and not a problem with the people.
Fascinating, thank you for this. One point : you say parents in USA are over protective and women there are fearless . I would argue that actually , if you’re talking about babies near to hot coals and boiling liquids, I’d rather fall under the “ over protective “ group 😅
@@mallarielove I never took it as an insult , I don’t know what was in my comment that made you interpret it this way ? I was just pointing out a simple fact , that it’s good to be cautious with young babies around hot liquids. Was not offended lol
okay first thing lol, gen zers have seen cars with ashtrays. they still exist, you were IN ONE. so ofc we have seen them. secondly, it’s so heartbreaking for me to see traditional beliefs demonized based on colonizers beliefs. to be convinced your past is evil and your ancestors beliefs were wrong somehow breaks my heart. your guide reminds me a lot of my own people who have similar animist beliefs. you can say we’re spontaneous haha! especially with music haha 😅 (for context im nehiyaw from canada!)
Lol! Sorry didn’t mean to offend but I haven’t seen the ash tray in SO LONG! And yes I really dislike that there colonizer beliefs are still engrained in society today 😢
I wish your volume on your videos were uniformed. I have volume up so loud to hear you talk bc it's like you're whispering and then when you cut to another clip it's SUPER loud. I'm always turning volume up and down. ❤ love your videos though
I’m sorry it’s one of the things I’m working on. Bc I have to film while I travel and the videos are 1 hour long it means I’m always in a diff place while recording so it’s really hard for me to make it uniform and even tho I edit the sound levels it never quite seems to come out uniform. But I appreciate the feedback and am working on it :)
I don't have this problem. I'm hard of hearing and use closed captions. It's not perfect but when the translation is bad the pronunciation makes up for it

Wow! Mali.
I do admire the way you open up our vision to see places, people, cultures in Africa that many of are completely unaware of.

Who is ur fav musician??
@@Chloejadetravels Habib Koité!
Pardon my ignorance but when i thoughy of mali i thought a desert like nation so i was pleasantly suprised with greenery ❤😅
Honestly me too because a lot of the famous landmarks are there!
Fascinating, thank you for this.

i don’t think she meant that as an insult. idk how that could even be taken that way. so dumb to think that lol, to consider it an insult

tbh I do not think they are fearless, simple just they can protect their children the most if they are with them
Beautiful designs ❤
I'm 33 and seeing the ash tray compartment in that car unlocked a deep DEEP memory
Hahaha right?? 😂
Is it possible to visit Timbuktu or Djenne too?

Very interesting thank you.

So lovely
❤
If. You can really sort your african full episodes it will be helpful for those who want to follow the full Playlist as I do.
Goto Isreal next😊
Do you travel with a portable mosquito net?
No I probably should but a lot of places have them
I’d also love for that man to read my fortune too.
Don’t worry I poured out the milk 😂
❤❤❤❤❤ 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
It's not overprotectiveness it's awareness and possibility to leave your child in a safe environment while you are busy.
First pls pin big fan
