- Today we're kicking off our adventures into Throwback Rotation with Evo Sword. Apparently this deck was pretty strong back in the Ultimate Colosseum days but I wouldn't know since I wasn't there at the time. Time for me to find out.

this deck was bonkers, we used to run zelgenea as an alt wincon with this as luxblade could sustain the self damage and outlast nearly every deck minus haven
@@ZeroXIV unfortunately in this format zelgenea wasn't released yet but I guess we'll get there eventually

Evo sword was at it's peak during fortune's hand with Alyaska.

@@Beefboss72 that was highly unlikely, and this deck has the best bounce back with arriete and shizu, the war flash backs are real bro... XD
@@PaoloCarandang-nj4cx There’s only 7-8 cards that unconditionally draw, and I’ve missed Arriet at 7 Evos more than I have found it, so it definitely happens, even if albeit rare. Missing free costing first is the bigger issue though

This accursed deck deserved to die after the update but nooooo it had support for (iirc) four straight sets... It was a nightmare for non sword players who were trying to climb... (war flashbacks).
