SKI VLOG! ⛷❄️ Skiing in the Swiss Alps! Come to Zermatt, Switzerland with us! Best Ski Trip ever!

- Come skiing with us! We took a trip to switzerland to test out our skills on the snowy slopes of Zermatt! Join us as we start our journey in the beautiful city of Zurich, before travelling by train to the stunning swiss alps. Once in Zermatt, we checked in Matthiol Hotel, with our mountain view balcony, and private sauna. This has been one of my favourite trips ever! Despite me taking a tumble (nose-dive) off a cliff at one point... I am a total beginner! my first day in Zermatt was my first day skiing!! (I went once before but never actually learned to ski). I'm SO happy with my progress! Zermatt isn't really the best place for beginners, but there were a few blue slopes. The slope I did was route 6 at sunnegga. I spent the first day in Wolli's beginner park!

Not me going to a ski resort last week not knowing what to do with my hair! At least I can watch this for next time!
I didnt do much with my hair this time tbh! It was pretty much out the whole time! The satin beanie helped! Hehe
@LanaSummer I saw! There was another woman there who wore her hair out. I just did a small low bun and usually had a gaiter on too. I was snowboarding for the first time and my hair probably would've gotten badly tangled with the amount of falling and flipping around I did 😭😭

@@LanaSummer Thanks! I’ve also never skied before and wondering how easy it is to self-learn there and then haha how did you find it? Did you consider booking a ski lesson?
@@laurry6256 We didn't have any lessons as we didn't really have time, but i definitely recommend it! The other people we met had spent the entire week in lessons. I believe Zermatt is a difficult resort to learn to ski at, I'd recommend finding a different location if it's your first time skiing!
@@LanaSummer I’ve already booked my holiday there 😂 I was just planning to go to Wolli park for the day like you did but I guess it’s not as easy as it seems!
@@laurry6256 Well you might be a natural! Yes, we spent our first afternoon in Wolli park which was very helpful, but we were only in Zermatt for a couple of days, if you're there for longer, please do try to spend longer at Wolli and also try to get a lesson too, it'll really help! Have a great time, it's incredibly beautiful there!!
