@@evy7406 yea they mixed that one up pretty bad. Also I feel like ppl should look more into subtypes before dressing in things that are not the subtype. (If that makes sense) also most subtypes are about the music rather than the clothing, don’t get me wrong the clothing is definitely a big part in alternative culture, but most of them are about music.

I haven't seen one of these where they actually dress goth. There's so many goth styles out there yet they all end up doing alt at most

Fun fact: you can be goth and still dress like an e-girl because who cares. Express yourself how you want, it's part of the subculture to not care what others think. You don't even have to go all out and have the most extreme look to be goth, you can wear black jeans and a t-shirt and if you identify as goth, that's fine especially since music and dark/macabre art is what inspires the aesthetic in the first place.

it's is very cute but I'd personally style it with a different artist/band. The most popular bands associated with the goth subculture is bands like Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, the Cure, Joy Division (this may differ depending on who you ask) and Sister's of Mercy. They're all really good bands to get into for those new to the music in fact the Cure was my first(just like heaven to be exact). Other wise very cute and simple goth look. I think accessories go a long way as well

I liked the gothic style
goth isnt really a style, its a music genre. Some might say there is a style associated with gothic music, like the trad-goths (mostly from the 80s since thats when post-punk originated). I dont really see any inspiration from that here, except maybe the lace gloves. I get people dont always know this stuff so its cool. just letting everyone know.
