    Any chance we could get Owen to do a epic ride taken in gravel, towpath, double track and single track on the Kelly's Theos R30 aluminium as this is the most affordable to most of us normal minions. And answer some of the fundamental information we all like to know when considering buying an E bike. What the bike is like to pedal above the 25kmph, how far you can get on one 8.25 wh battery, and what modes he used predominantly using ecco or trail. Thanks 👍🏻

  • @grahamsmith9788

    in my experience, EMTB technology is still so new that it's best to have local support, i.e. buy from a local dealer who are part of a network backed up by a national importer/distributor. It looks like Kellys are some way off achieving that in the UK - it seems there is only one dealer, who is also the importer.

    • @user-bi3ks3br5i

      I did som googling. It aeema they are sold in 4 places. If its not farnaeay then its ok. Its shimano system and the batery seems same platform as on other Kellys emtbs so they should be well equipped for the diagnostic, soft uodatong and all that

    • @Jamie-c4y

      Kellys operates a dealer direct model throughout Europe. Because of the challenges with currency, shipping and cost, it’s not possible to do that in the UK.
      We offer National coverage and support in the UK including in person delivery & have everything you’d need diagnostics and spares wise.

  • @dadventuretv2538

    I’m sorry but when emtb brands just keep talking about weight it makes me wonder what gimmicks they pulled to get the numbers and how average the rest of the bike must be. Because the dark secret only people who actually ride emtbs know is this: 5-10 lbs doesn’t matter when you have a full power motor. What is more important is geo, linkage and shock tuning, and having heavy duty enough components to handle the extra speed and weight and gnarliness that bike is gonna get fed. Give me a bike that weighs a few extra pounds but has 220s, a 38 fork, 35 rims and heavy duty casing tires, and a well designed linkage with unique to that bike shock tuning over something that happens to weigh a few pounds less any day.

    • @Jamie-c4y

      The range of Theos bikes including the F100 all use a variation of Kellys Think Link.
      A Virtual Pivot style linkage which is then adapted specifically for e-bikes to allow supple yet well supported suspension action.
      The F100 is definitely designed as a trail bike which is why it’s fitted with the Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.4/2.8 setup opposed to the Eddy Current on the F70/F90 & the 825wh battery certainly isn’t cutting corners to get the weight down - that’s the point of this bike. It has everything you need
