This just makes me want to play cod 4 again. I was never there when it was new. I was only a toddler then. My dad was there though and oh boy how he enjoyed it. He was in the modding scene, helped NovemberDobby run some servers for his mods, played in competitive tournaments and even participated in events outside of that. Cod 4 wasn't my first game. That would be the actual first title. But I really really loved Cod 4 when I used to play it in 2014. Even nearly a decade later both on PC and 360 there were plenty of people to play. Now, like Chernobyl in these missions: it's empty. dead or dying, and any potential to play it again with new life being stripped away. Activision spits on the legacy the original IW team left. All for the sake of forcing people to play the new offerings in the hopes they will spend more money
This is the best Cod in historic terms. Technical, advanced graphics and even the writing. Did you know this whole sequence of chernobyl was written on the spot by one developer and the head devs told him to try a demo and the whole team loved it so they rewrote it and included it in the final game?

Listening to this 1 hour loop while my eyes are closed is really a feeling of a place. I can feel the town of Pripyat in my mind and Chernobyl.
