I love her too but as someone who has been a fan of hers for a quite some time,I just don’t think ghost story is one of her better songs. It’s a weird barometer to have but when I listen to a song a handful of times,I know it’s a hit but when I only listen to it a few times,I know it’s not a hit.The humility I will always agree with but the song just isn’t the best that she could do.

It does have its uptempo parts and her singing well as usual but it just doesn’t hit like Cowboy Casanova or Good Girl. I still love her but damn,this song is a dud. This song is going to stick out like a sore thumb on an album that she describes as “fun”.It’s just another depressing country song just like Cry Pretty was and honestly I think that’s the last thing people want to hear from her after some of the heavier stuff she’s released in the past.

There was something off about this interview.. Carrie basically didn’t say anything because she also coudn’t because there is NOTHING known yet about the album so why have this long interview in the first place and also.. Bobby was annoying he made weird comments and had weird questions. The whole thing made me cringe. 🙈
I really don’t get why people are hating on Bobby so much.Either you haven’t listened to Bobby’s show that much or you have some weird dislike for Bobby. She did the interview to plug the new song and her residency so the interview wasn’t exactly for nothing.Bobby is one of the best interviewers and in my opinion doesn’t ask questions to waste time or just fill the silence,he always asks thoughtful and deep questions that very few interviewers would ask. Yeah, I don't know what was going on in this interview with Carrie but it was definitely awkward. Bobby did his best, but Carrie wasn't giving him anything. I don't know why she does this in interviews. Something happens and she just doesn't want to talk, which is what an interview is.
She’s shy and extremely introverted so it’s not that uncommon that her interviews are like this. Interviews have never been her thing so it’s not like this is the first time anyone has said that. She’s usually a pretty private person and has always been shy and quiet so interviews with her can come across as awkward or weird. She has anxiety and has talked about it numerous times over the years.

His questions are so odd and forced....and I feel bad for Carrie.
He usually does a great job with interviews so I have never felt that his questions are odd or forced so I don’t get why you would feel bad for her. He knows her fairly well so her interviews with him to me have never seems awkward or forced.

Bobby is a great interviewer. But yes in this interview it didn’t feel right. Bobby seemed off and not into it and Carrie seemed uncomfortable and confused. I’m a huge Carrie fan and I listen to the BBS every day. I’ve always senses there’s something off between bobby and Carrie. He doesn’t talk about her like he does about other artist. He’s never said anything bad about her but he just doesn’t seem to have a relationship with her as he does with other country artist it’s very weird
@@karenmacias3187 There are some aspects of that I don’t agree with. She may not be on the show as often as some country artists but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t talk to her as often as other artists. I do agree he is a great interviewer but we all know Carrie has never been comfortable doing interviews during her career,anyone who is a fan of hers knows that fact. Someone who is extremely introverted like her and very shy,two things I can definitely relate to,can make interviews awkward. Interviews are never fun but when you’re as awkward and shy as Carrie is.it’s an introverts worst nightmare because they’re asked probing questions that they really don’t want to answer and all the attention is on them which they really don’t want because they hate being the center of attention.I don’t find it that odd when she’s only on there to promote a song or a new album since that’s when she has the most stuff to promote so when she really doesn’t have anything going on,she’s not on his show that often if that makes any sense.

I honestly did not like this interview… I normally love all of Bobby’s interviews. Nothing wrong with Carrie but it seems like she doesn’t want to be interviewed at all. I just felt awkward listening to this.
Anyone who has been a fan of hers for any length of time knows that interviews have never been her thing no matter who is interviewing her.I can’t imagine promoting a new song and doing her residency and having to do this interview,maybe it’s possible she just felt tired and didn’t want to let Bobby down so she did the interview even though she probably didn’t feel like doing it at the time.I think Bobby can only do so much with an interview when the subject isn’t talking or contributing to the interview. I usually love his interviews too since he always asks insightful and deep questions that very few interviewers don’t ask.

I think you’re reading into something that’s not there. If you think for even one second that there was this simmering,tense anger she was exhibiting,you’re delusional. Weird interview. I don’t think they like each other.
Not even the least bit close to being true. After her accident,Carrie was the one that went to Bobby for her first interview because he felt he wouldn’t ask her invasive or try to dig secrets out of her she didn’t want being revealed. She felt he would give her a fair shake so that’s why she went to him for that interview after her accident. He has had nothing but nice things to say about her and he is literally her biggest supporter. Anyone who is that supportive of an artist and has their back 100% of the time doesn’t sound like someone that would hate her.

Carrie does not open up in interviews at all. I have yet to see her give anything away in any interview which must be terrible for the one doing the interview and having to littetally pry any answers out of her. She is very closed off and appears awkward with the way she talks
Interviews have never been her thing since one,she’s extremely shy and she is extremely private about her personal life and two,she has never liked being the center of attention. Not every celebrity that is at her level of fame is always going to be open about their own lives if they’re not comfortable talking about it. I hear she’s so mean to other celebs and fans
Where are you reading that?Every fan that has met her have said that she is the nicest,sweetest most down to earth person that they’ve ever met,not mean or rude at all. And I don’t know what celeb would say she’s mean or rude since I doubt that many celebrities know who she is.Shy and introverted yes but mean and rude? I don’t buy it.
@@bookgirl8 Do you know those articles that talk about the celebrities who are actually mean, there are several about her. The people who work for her are mainly the ones who say she’s awful. I don’t know or care either way. There is no way we will know for certain. But then I think back to Ellen DeGeneres, who was one of my favorite celebrities ever and seems so nice, but then I had several friends in the industry who said it’s known and understood in the industry that she is awful and mean to everybody but her fans. Then, that whole lawsuit came out. I guess you never know with celebrities. I don’t think any of them are who they portray themselves to be. Some may be better behind closed doors and some may be worse
@@kailyirenson441 You’re right,we don’t know for certain on how Carrie is with the people she works with because you don’t know if these people saying those things about her are jealous of her success or they’re bitter because they were fired from their jobs.You just don’t know about those rumors because they’re just that:rumors. It’s hard to verify rumors when you don’t know if they’re true or not.Carrie is extremely private,shy & reserved & very introverted but that doesn’t mean anything unless people want to read into it.
@@bookgirl8 Have you seen the show Nashville? Juliette Barnes character was based on Carrie underwood. The character is an absolute b*tch to everyone in the industry and only nice to her fans. I wonder what must have gone on in the industry to make them do a whole show about her.
@@kailyirenson441 I know her character was originally based on Carrie herself since I watched the show enough to know that.I could see some aspects of that could be embellished for dramatic affect. I’m sure there’s a lot of people in the industry that her character could be based on.I’m sure that there’s a lot that was going on in the time in the industry to base that character on Carrie.
