Wow. My older male friend is going through some stuff right now. He recently asked me to move in with me. But I told him no. His daughter told him that she didnt want to live with him either. I have caught him in several lies recently. He recently said that he was worried that I would get good things and move away. He has deliberately lied about the severity of his condition to manipulate the people around him. He started having his grandaughter lie to her mom about things, and thats when they moved out. When I realized what he was doing several months ago, and I started pulling back my energy. My last conversation with him this week was to tell him that his daughter and I have our own lives to live and we can't be full-time caretakers. I helped him find resources that would allow him to live the life he wants, and told him that he needed to focus on making the decisions to care for himself.
A chaplain may have visited him, I'm not sure. I don't think he is deliberately sending spells. But his negative thoughts may be creating unconscious spellwork.
There are so many people that could be doing this spellwork honestly. Because I've only recently realized that what I thought was love my whole life, was actually codependency in my family and friendships.
