@@cbrockett6736 Teams need more than just good players to play well and win games. Norway aren’t very cohesive. And despite big names like Ryerson and Ostigaard; their defence looks pretty dysfunctional and fragile. Dykes’ goal was especially soft.
Scotland were favourites to win and favourites to qualify for the tournament with Spain. Scotland not qualifying this time would be an upset.
Look at the bookies odds before any games kicked off and you’ll see Norway were fancied to go through just ahead of Scotland
Mate, Ur either very young or don't follow much international fitbaw. That was a good win against a decent Norwegian team at home who were desperate for a win and we beat them through sheer team spirit and will in the ungodly heat.
