If the whole world was like you guys, everything would be fixed and would become blissful to exist... You are going in the right dirrection and i can see your souls through your eyes. Take it from me, you are on an amazing journey and have made it further than most, but don't let your ego know i said so ;) lol
this has to be one of the coolest podcast formats ever, just hiking out in the Aussie wilderness, pretty cool to be able to watch from Ireland and as always you and Jarrad just have the best conversations
Crazy synchronicities since I started listening to your podcast. Been in a weird spot for a couple years due to a reality smashing bad trip. You've helped me to realize I need to try to understand what I really went through during that. Dude, life's a crazy trip. Thanks for helping me to really be able to understand that.
Tripped on DMT the other day, for anyone that wants to do it don't have it to get fucked up - should be a reason behind it because it's intense and once you're in, you're in.
True that, never do psychedelics to get fucked up, when I was 18 I paid the price doing 4 grams of shrooms (for my first time doing a psychedelic) in slient darkness. My ego was saying "this shit is gonna be so fun, it ain't got nothing on me, I can handle anything this throws at me" what proceeded to happen was I thought I died (ego death), felt my soul come out of my body then I freaked the fuck out and had an horrific panic attack for 2 hours in thought loops pacing up and down that I was dying, it was my first panic attack so I didn't know what was happening just that I was dying. I felt all my organs shutting down and it was horrifying. Extremely intense. BUT the insights kept coming over a year and now I am a better person but I still feel bad anxiety to this day from that trip. It was only a year and a half ago so I think I will recover over time from the anxiety. If I could do it again I would never ever go over 2.5g.
@@kuhzzy1798 that never going above 2.5 is a good suggestion coming from my experience as well. Read up on regulating your nervous system :) it'll help with the lasting anxiety!
Thank you for this inspiring video! Your words have truly uplifted me. I'm grateful for the positivity and motivation you bring-you're making a real difference!
Psychedelics definitely have potential to deal with health issues like anxiety and depression, I would like to try them but it's just hard to source out here.
I was having this constant and unbearable anxiety because of university stress. Not until I came across Ted Winston, a very intelligent mycologist, He saved my life honestly.
I wish more podcasts were done like this.. just walking around hanging out and talking rather than a more professional setting just sitting down at a table.
As someone who did rehab at 21 and seen a homeless shelter from within i can assure you that no matter how they look, everyone has a story to tell you that you can profit from.
Around the 50min - 1hr mark is some gold, I just wish I had the ability or connects to take trips. Stuff does wonders for my mental health but we can work on it with mindfulness and opening ourselves. Feel lost but we remain connected, love the podcasts!
damn! that line 'we are too old to discover the earth and too young to see the stars' fuuuuuck dude!!! that hit me hard!! its a wierd ol time to be alive thats for sure!! i need more videos and podcasts like this!!
Ya know the typical bald eagle sound you hear? That screeching? Well that's not actually an eagle, it's a hawk that makes that noise. They have been lieing using that sound as an eagle in movies for ages.
There's something real special about the Akubra/bush hats of Aus. A unique and beautiful bit of Australian culture. Mine is has all kinds of stains, holes, scrapes and other adventure scars.
So synchronistic! This morning I woke up and for some reason I was thinking about a time Tom said something like 'the big lez show is a documentary' and now I see this. Cool.
Where can we find this camping ground Tom? Been doing group trips at isolated airbnbs but always been on the lookout for semi-wilderness camping spots like this without having to worry about other campers :o This place looks so free keen for a little roll down them hills
speed, weed, heroine, cocaine, mushrooms, pine-o-clean, petrol, battery acid, acid, salvia, meth, some herbs and spices and some lettuce and tomato, vodka sauce, bam and the dirt is gone, ajax spray and wipe some chicken and cheese all wrapped in a tortilla.
I have to say this- I look like Jarrad, physically. Proper Doppelganger energy. I have shown photos of Jarrad to my own sister and mother and they simply asked where I was and what I was up to when the photo was taken. But what really blows my mind is that I also do voices and music and D R U G G Z and spirituality, etc. I can literally do all the voices of the Big Lez universe accurately. This could make for a fascinating meeting.
The walkabout is a coming of age thing as I know it in w.a, tribe dependant, you go out with nothing but knowledge into the great sandy desert and wonder and live until the ancestors guide you back home.
I'm Icelandic and the rune walking stick is awesome. I've wanted to visit (or live in) Australia since I was a small kid but goddamn, all the poisonous danger would stress tf outta me 👀
The country between Brisbane and Coffs Harbour is heaven on earth. So sick to see two of my favourite content creators just taking a walk and having a yarn out on the land I grew up on.
