- After I got the chance to play sparking zero there was a lot of information I learned but couldnt share among the super moves and battles between Gogeta blue, DBS Broly, Beerus, Dbs trunks and so much more! Today though we have a chance to go over so much more including the custom battles!

This gameplay looks amazing. Creating your own story mode is a genius addition! I'm not sure I've ever been this excited for a game. Faith in humanity returning.
I think this'll be like the story mode of supersonic warriors 2 on the DS. It sounds about the same from the description of it.

btw they confirmed different moves for Goku (early), in the demo he had Spirit Bomb ultimate and in this one he had Super Kamehameha. hopefully we’ll be able to customize the movesets of other characters

Dude, I hope there's a bunch of what-if scenarios, even if I'm sure some will be released as DLC later. I think it's a super smart thing to do after years, years, and YEARS, of rehashing the story. Also, I'm really surprised that everyone can still do their voices properly after 20+ years.
i really hope just for the sheer absurdity of it that you can what-if vegeta or master roshi into unlocking ultra instinct to fight jiren instead of goku

I know you guys will probably get this on console, but on PC, the custom battle mode with mods is gonna go absolutely nuts. Can't wait for Three Idiots raids once this releases!

This game looks amazing! I'm most excited about the "what if" storylines. I've been a dragonball fan for decades now. I know the story.

All games need to just do what they did in Smackdown vs Raw's customizable season mode. Like Little Big Planet and Super Mario Maker, make an ENTIRE game mode as "What-if" sagas. created by the players

Split screen only on the hyperbolic time chamber means that it was NOT included at launch originally, and they just implemented it recently because of the hype😂 it may not be that good at launch which is rough for a full priced game but your mileage may vary
I'd rather have that with more maps potentially added in the future than not having split screen at all/having to wait any longer for this game.
Doto is definitely a wrestling fan with the insane commentary skills and I love it.
I hope the custom stories will have a database that all platforms can access

I'm glad to see people aren't throwing temper tantrums over local only being on HBTC. This game is just designed for a single screen so the fact that they squeezed it in at the very end of it's development is just super cool of them.

Oh no its definitely a problem. Just as bad as kh3 removing ff characters. Its the next in the series and as such should not be broken... why take part of a games pivotal aspects? Glad they added it at this point while still in development but that doesnt change that it should have been there to begin with.. everyone has been asking for a BT so why give us something different when you claim this is a BT? Core elements need to remain even if things get updated or added to. Much like how the roster rn isn't screaming "next BT" but rather "BT super" as all the charcters that were in the last game seem to just be replaced by super characters or forms.. I made a video about that in particular but this is some crazy digressing. It was always local so they should make it with that in mind. And just to clear it up im very much going to get the game and enjoy it but that doesn't mean ppl can't criticize.
@@carlosthetruedragon They didn't have it in mind because of how the game is trying to push itself graphically and performance-wise, it wouldn't have worked.
With the explanation they gave us, and the breakdown that I saw of why exactly it wouldn't have worked, I would've been fine with it. It's not that they just didn't want to add it because they didn't want to. They genuinely could not figure out how to do it, so the only satisfaction they could give us was a single map of local player.
Not adding Local Multiplayer wouldn't have made it any less BT. Yes, local multiplayer was a great cog in the wheel of BT2-3, but local multiplayer itself is not what BT was based on. It's just a function in the game.
And nowadays, because of online accessibility, it's not a crutch to not have local multiplayer. You can play with a plethora of people online, including your friends. The only downside is not being able to have them in the same room.
TL;DR - The game would've been fine without local multiplayer.
If I remember the episode correctly; Raditz defeated Goku and Raditz kidnapped Gohan.
I wish the game would let it play out exactly like the episode where us, the player will lose; like any of the Souls game in the beginning.
THE HYPE IS REAL AND SCARY
3 things.
1: They didn’t even implement local co op until the community demanded it. Absolutely amazing!!!!
2: I would like GT somewhere in the game. Maybe Super Hero and Daima are DLCs 1 and 2, then GT is DLC 3 maybe?
3: I would like some kind of estimate on game Storage size. Obviously this is going to be a massive game since the visuals are so amazing, the amount of characters, and the story being as massive as it is.
I actually don’t think the game will be that big. DB Kakarot is about 40 gigs on PS5, XV2 is about 30, and FighterZ is about 6 gigs. They always optimize these games extremely well in terms of storage, I genuinely can’t see them going over 75 gigs
I dont see this game ever going beyond the 60gs even with all dlc out and installed,i doubt itll even have as many characters as BT3,if anything,the only way it would really start to get heavy is if you make or download too many comunity made stories.

I was looking forward to this game but I was also scared since many fighters tend to be overly obsessed with targeting online play over everything else nowadays, but after seeing all that's been confirmed so far, I and overly excited to play this now. Black Myth: Wukong, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, and this are probably the 3 things I am most hyped for!

With the recent announcement of sparking zero demo in summer games fest I Doto decided to cook with my content
I've got my first custom scenario title picked out already. "Ultimate vs. Yamcha." I think it's got a nice ring to it.
Cant wait to get some crazy what if of UI in the Zero Mortal Plan arc.
Imagine a DLC for the what ifs where Goku ends up joining Raditz! I know its not likely but this game has so much potential I wanna believe anything is possible
Man hearing that we're the story episodes for each character reminds me of Budokai 3 hope there are secret characters episodes like Budokai 3 did with broly.
I think the limited movement and storybook type setup can be a pretty versatile setup. Valkyria Chronicles used something like that, heavily limited animations. Think Gravity Rush/Daze had that too. But it lets you focus on progression. Cinematics may be cool, but Dragon Ball started in 1984. It's been on for about 40 years, if you have any interest in anime or manga, you probably have seen traditional content plenty at this point. Getting on with it is appreciated in my perspective at least. Focus their attention on other details and not jack up game price over stuff that's been done to death.

I love that Krillin's destructo disc didn't come out right when he used it against raditz the first time, it looked more like an arc of energy than a disc
It is a nice bonus that he mentioned he still needs work on it, implying his year long training under Kami which perfected his ki control is what helped. Admittedly I do think it's just the angle of the cutscene that gives that impression though.
I think the cutscenes are fine this way. Because I think the idea is that all the previous DBZ games were heavily story-based but this one the story is just another part of the game.
I really hope they fix these 4 things before they release the game:
1. When the aura is active, it must stay on even during long fighting.
2. Dust should last a lot longer before it dissipates.
3. Water must have physics, i don't feel is right to see them fall in the water as if its air instead they should float and move slower while in the water.
4. Health Bars avatars should be animated the same way they are in DBZ LEGENDS on PS1 or even better!
Then the game will be close to perfect!
