Kim Seokjin (Jin) is 27 (dec 04 1992)
Min Yoongi (suga) is 27 (March 09 1993)
Jung Hoseok (J-Hope) is 26 (feb 18 1994)
Kim Namjoon (RM) is 25 (sept 12 1994)
Park Jimin (jimin) is 24 (oct 13 1995)
Kim Taehyung (V) is 24 (dec 30 1995)
Jeon Jungkook (jungkook) is 22 (sept 01 1997)
They formed starting with RM (the leader) in 2010 through their company at bighit. Some went to audition, some were scouted or similar to it. This year makes it 7 years since their debut in 2013 (they have to train for years before debut) and they are from South Korea 🇰🇷. They are Korean and they are the most popular successful boy group in the world right now bts cant compare to any other boyband they are in another level. BTS has 7 members 4 vocalists and 3 rappers their music and dancing is amazing and they do a lot of genres I recommend watching a video called who is bts to get a better understanding of who they are as a group and as individuals before reacting to more of their music 😊 welcome to the bts journey is a long one but if you continue I can assure you will enjoy getting to know them as artists and people

the guy you thought was a girl is jimin, he has one of the most unique voices, range, and vocal color. despite his feminine features he can also be very masculine, and hes the best (in my opinion, at the very least one of the best) dancer in the industry rn and he is extremely versatile in his types of dancing.
Yes I wrote so much in my comment but but you describe Jimins voice and him in such a perfect way. And I agree about him as a dancer. JHope is crazy good, a bit better I think then Jimin in certain a type of dance but Jimin is so versatile and an amazingly skilled dancer.

These guys are not just any boyband...they're much more than that. Songwriters, producers, philathropists...they're a movement. Korean artists dominating both western and asian charts, making people from all over the world listen to music in Korean, which is not even one of the biggest languages in world...legendary
BTS is known for their complex choreography, cinematic videos and moving lyrics. Lyrics are important with them because their songs are often very deep. Be sure to turn on the cc for English subtitles.
Just an addendum: On is not the actual music video. It is a dance performance film and the phrase 'Come Prima' is Italian, meaning 'like before' or 'like the first time.' You should watch the On MV with subtitles.

No really I'm old I was around for those boy bands throw shade they can't compare to BTS or TXT, Bigbang any of them really. What they could have done if they were giving the freedom to write or produce we will never know. There job was to look pretty for the girls that's it and it's why they never lasted they had nothing of themselves invested in the music. I'm not being a hater of the band's but a hater of the labels that never let them be anything other than puppets

Ooh -- I'm so glad you're reacting to these guys! BTS are amazing -- not just as entertainers, but as producers, lyricists, philanthropists, and dedicated artists.
Unlike a lot of "boy bands," they have a strong hand in their creative direction and have lived like a family for over seven years. Coming from a near-bankrupt company, they had to do a lot of the heavy lifting to get to where they are now.
Their music is as diverse as their members, and the lyrics almost always have very deep meaning. Turning on the CC is a good way to go.
- For lyrical hiphop, I suggest *Black Swan*
- For something with a latin flair, I suggest *Airplane Pt 2*
- For something with an afro-beat, I suggest *Idol* (It's a "screw you" song to people who told them they were "too westernized" or "too k-pop-like" or too this or too that)
- For rap/hiphop, I suggest *Mic Drop* (It's a clapback at the people who bullied them when they were underdogs.)
- For a ballad, I suggest *a lyric video for The Truth Untold* (is just the four vocalists).
- For rap/lyrical rock, I suggest *Fake Love* (It's part of an ongoing storyline and is packed full of symbolism tied to it.)
- For something pop or peppy, I suggest *DNA* or *Boy With Luv*

I think you're about to go down a deep BTS rabbit hole. Their music transcends genre. They have managed to offer different sounds in every single one of their album. They're definitely not your lock-stock boyband/groups. They write and produce their own music with authentic, heartfelt and sincere messages; from politics to social commentary, from the passions of youthful love to loving yourself, to now understanding and accepting yourself. BTS truly is unlike any other musicians I have come across. Thank you for giving them a try. Hope you'll enjoy the journey!

jimin is the one that can hit those really high notes and yes he may sound like a 'girl' but that's because he is one of the many idols that can control their voices to hit those really high notes
besides that his really unique tone helps him achieve that really smoothly/makes people confused lol. (but all of them have different tones, i love jimin's, v's and hobi's) nonetheless it takes so much skill for anyone to hold a good and healthy high note!!

Dance crew who are also the best singers and rappers...who challenge all kinds of genres, but started with hip hop. Write and produce their own music and are also the closest friend group closer than family...who are also hilarious idiots. And have amazing messages of hope and empowerment.

They have three rappers (suga,rm,jhope) suga and rm are underground rappers and j-hope used to be a street dancer, the dancers are (jimin,jungkook,jhope,v) jimin is a contemporary dancer/modern ballet and does popping like jhope and jungkook is the youngest went and trained dancing in America and v dancing came naturally to him, and now vocalists (Jin,v,jimin,jungkook) Jin has a honey like voice he can hit really high notes (lead vocalist) and jimin has a naturally high pitched voice that’s why you thought he was a female (also lead vocalist) and v has a really really really really deep voice and he is good at hitting high and low notes you can’t miss him cause his voice is really unique (lead vocalist) and now jungkook has most stable voice while dancing and can hit any notes (that’s why he’s the main vocalist) hope this helps you! (Btw English is not my first language sooo...sorry)

Jimin has a high voice but he can also growl and sing in a raspy voice. He is very versatile. His dancing is 100% masculine. No mattee how graceful & elegant he is when dancing, he remained 100% masculine.
The “girl” is Jimin - a guy with the voice of an angel. They don’t lip sync in any of their live performances - this was also done live at Grand Central Railway station - including the dancing all live. They train for 16 hours a day to be able to dance and sing without failing with either. They are not Chinese - they are Korean. Their music is very broad - from vocal ballads to straight rap. They are not a typical boy band. They write and produce most of their own music. All of their albums have a message - they deal with social issues such as mental health, bullying and self love. I hope you look more into them - you won’t be disappointed.

-fake love( it’s more of a dark theme)

I’m not sure you could get much out of it since you talked through a lot of key parts. I know we in the West are used to simplistic music with simple lyrics and simple dance - if there is dance, but BTS is in another level completely. Bts music are really deep. Their songs are all connected to each other. Unlike most K-pop and frankly all pop in general where every artist only talks about girls, money, drugs, sex, heartbreaks etc. BTS music was socially conscious, they talk about mental health issues, youth, politics, and the pressures of today’s generation which any person can relate to.
BTS also writes and composes their own music. They are very versatile when it’s come to music. They create music that is not repetitive and sound the same. They do hiphop, pop, Rnb, ballads, punk and more.

Hi Ms. Lilly, So nice to see an intelligent matue woman appreciating BTS. They hooked me in 2015 and since I've watched all their experiments in music. Don't listen to the young man! You know what your talking about!
they held 2 days concert in wembely last June. i flew there from canada lol.
And this year BTS is supposed to have their concert tour. It is almost impoosible to get their concert tickets in Korea, so I bought their concert tickets for Toronto concert in end May, ready to travel 24h by flight from Singapore to Canada just to catch their live performances. It is a pity that the concert is postponed due to coronavirus in Europe.
Hey really enjoyed the reactions. You’ve probably gotten a lot of comments about the members already, including a lot of suggestions, but just in my opinion you should react to more of their music before getting into the introduction videos suggested in the comments. Their music is very-and by that I mean extremely-diverse, and their content is vast, so they are a good group to react to. If you liked this song, I can recommend a few more that follow the same energy such as “Fire”, “Mic Drop”, “Not Today,” and “Dope”. These are all hype songs with good choreography. If you want to explore their different genres you could go for “Black Swan”, “Fake Love”, “Save Me”, and “Idol”. As people have mentioned, you should turn their CC on because their lyrics are extremely good,

This is the new grown mature versions of their old selves *They teamed up with marching band / dancers called THE LAB and filmed in Los Angeles which the kinetic manifesto film is a preview video of their full choreography since they only do the dance break part in their official MV* when this came out I was like this the whole time 🙀👀 then ☠️ toward the end, I couldn’t explain it at all I had no words it literally gives me N.O with Not Today and We are Bulletproof vibes that I found later through interviews that this title track is reverse of their 2013 title track “N.O” from their second album ‘O!RUL8,2?’, our guys definitely didn’t come to play, once I heard it I knew it was the title track. Like OMG the others are playing the drums behind Suga and our man Jin front & center. I did notice Jin wasn’t part of the dance break b/c he said it was very difficult for him which is perfectly fine & understandable, he has been doing so great along with RM and Suga with their dancing; i’m overly proud of their improvement 😵😻 I know nobody wants to think about it but since Jin, V & JungKook will start standing out more because V & JK will have to carry the responsible of BTS name when the time comes having to send off their hyungs one by one unless they all decide to enlist at the same time which I pray doesn’t happen; which hasn’t been confirmed yet and i’m not sure on how that would work since they haven’t started their solo debuts yet which is concerning me the closer it gets to enlistment which may not happen because of the virus outbreak. The more I listen and many fans have their theories but I think what theyre basically saying is no matter what negativity or challenges comes their way they’ll overcome it together when they say “Bring it, Bring the pain”, I wish every kpop artist had that mindset because there would’ve been less disbandments & members leaving their groups. I’m so proud of their improvement and I also believe the backup dancers representing the ARMY 💪🏽 which is saying that the fans & BTS have each other’s back, theyre willing to go out of their way to help each other and others to get through the hardship. Theyve mixed in allot of their old choreo with this new choreography, there’s so much symbolism going on within their dancing including the new fake tattoos on Taehyung’s face & neck which he wanted to use for this concept. Their outfits symbolize the Light & Dark, which they’re finally embracing both sides to balance themselves (revolutionary title song). #BTSOn

Hey there! Great reaction! I am a little bit lazy right now, so I probably won't write much, but I wanted to let you know something. I don't know what genre of music you listen to, but Bts most likely have it. They are very versatile and there is a depth to the group that you probably can't just yet. You just have to believe me, that they deserve your attention. They have so much to offer. Beautiful beautiful lyrics, amazing personalities that will entertain you, inspiration to many things, dancing, rapping, angelic vocals, hard work, trying to be their best for the fans, endless love for the fans, amazing songs, amazing music videos, the storyline behind them known as Bangtan Universe, knowledge of many things and more. You probably won't either believe me or won't understand and that's okay. Just give them a chance, please. If you don't want to, that's okay too. But you'll be missing a lot. I am quite a new fan, I still have a long way to go, but I have experienced what they can do with you and it's.. it's a very unique experience. They are amazing people, so just remember that whatever you will chose to do, just respect them and if possible, spread that. I know you have other reactions, I am just going to watch them. 😊 I just felt the need to write this. This also goes to anyone else who is not a fan. We just want you to give them the respect they deserve. You can even not like the fandom, just don't put them down because of some fans that haven't found better ways to behave just yet (I am talking to people that met fans that weren't acting the way they probably should, I know that happens sometimes, but there is a lot of very smart people as well - not including me just yet, but I'll get there). Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop **
1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers
2. Bts compose and produce their own music, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc
3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) have to read a several books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul:persona" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Jung.
4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble.
5. They have a lot of genres and you can find subtitles in every possible language.
**Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals

Nobodies to Legends 2017 & 2019

These will give you an insight on who they are and their fandom (Army).
Hey just wanted to give you some BTS reaction tips:
1. Watch all videos/music videos/live performances from first sec with Big Hit intro until the very end because there is often things in the very very end of the videos. So many stop MV's before they are over just because the song ends. Also don't ever cut MV's, they don't copywright.
2. CC (eng subs) on all MV's (old ones might not have CC's or might be harder to find with) if you watch a color coded video keep CC's off. Some live performances and other vids might have but most don't so don't press CC because you will get the auto generated ones and you don't want that. Ask the army for help with what exact vids to watch.
Make the window big enough for us too be able to see the vid and cc to.
3. Keep it real, if you don't feel a song, say so! So many reactors just like everything and get over hyped by everything and it gets old we all like some songs better and some less and maybe dislike some or some parts and thats ok, just be respectful. (well some fans gets mad over reactors not loving every sec of every song or other sort of BTS vid). Say what you like and you will get great recommendations, BTS have sooo much different types of songs.
4. Faces can be hard in the beginning, they started in their teens and early 20's so there faces and bodys change alot from beginning to now and haircolor change alot sometimes the same person have two different colours in one MV.
5. You will probably be recommended some "super funny" try not to laugh videos etc that will make no sense and not be funny at all because you need to know BTS and have watched Run BTS to get things/jokes. So check with the army first so you don't have to do one of those, it's always awkward to watch reactors watch them and some even fake laugh to them witch is awful to watch.
But there is lots and lots of funny and good vids too!
6. Some "army" are really toxic and wierd and might be angry, start fight etc in comments but with such a big fanbase (over 24 million?) ofcourse there will be crazys to. DKDKTV have great explanations to many songs so after watching/listening to some songs like DDAENG and UGH! for example do a reaction to the DKDKTV explanation tOo, it's always appreciated and you will love all the explanations to the lyrics. There are double meanings, and Korean sayings, word play etc that don't really translate but in DKDKTV's vids you will get it all explained and they are super interesting and fun to watch. But start with the song and do the explanation reaction after you reacted to the song.
Xceleste and The Bookish Theories are also channels to find explanations of the videos and storyline that goes throu their MVs.
There are probably lots more but these are things I felt really could have helped some reactors starting out. Hope this helps.
And if I were you I would watch *Who is BTS?: The Seven Members of Bangtan (INTRODUCTION) by SUGA & spice* . It's outdated but very good as a foudation and still the best first introduction to get to know them, just keep in mind it's a few years and things have changed.
And it's long (about 30 min) and you should pause when/if it's lot of yellow text and fixed subs etc at the same time but don't worry you will get lots of views and learn a lot.
It usually makes a 40-50 min reaction video with the pausing but as I wrote people like the long vids as long as you pay attention and pause so you don't miss stuff.
It's really packed with info that goes by fast, yellow info text, some subtitles (fixed in the vid) they speak some english in it and there are also some lyrics and sometimes two of these things or more at once and dancing etc you dont want to miss thats why you should pause atleast to read the yellow text then you can read the subs that are going on at the same time and watch whats going on in the video.
and oooh you are in for a surprise... they sing as they dance, and the na-na-na is Jimin (blue hair and white clothes in this vid), a man, but it's nothing unusual too think it's a female voice sometimes when he sings. He has an amazing voice, well they all do.
And they are not like the old boybands.
They are seven multitalented grown korean men and the seven of them are a mix of musicians, dancers, producers, rappers, singers, songwrighters, actors etc that has formed a supergroup that makes music in all kinds of categorys not only kpop. They all dance and all of them also either sing or rap or do both.
And not only that they have a great message in their songs/lyrics and even though their fame they are the most humble caring people still.

And I went back and edited it a bit with some more info. + BTS are some really humble respectful people so treat them like human beings not like just some famous celebrities I mean you don't have to like their music etc but just treat it like you are actually reacting to real people.
I mean you should with all celebs and famous people that aren't bad people but you will understand when/if you watch the introduction vids and also the vids of what they have been throu and when you get to know them better through interviews and speaches and comments here by army..
