I've got one big and crazy theory that Emerson is Liseil Inc, or he owns it and that he either tries to heal Remington and Sebastian from some mental illness by giving them medication, in order to help his brothers or even more extreme, that he created Remington and Sebastian as additions to his own little world he's creating by drawing and sketching everything he thinks of. But in this case Remington noticed that he is just an artificial creation of Emerson and he tries to fight this, by attacking Emerson, screaming at him "stop fucking with my head". This theory also get's supported by Emersons Teaser on Twitter where he said: "Patient X was the firt experiment created by Liseil Inc", so he basically told us that Remington was his fist creation of a humunculus or something like that and so Remington is way more fragile that Sebastian, who could be his second creation of this kind. Also I can connect this with the theories from "You'll be fine", so that I would say Emerson tries to stage the whole clinic-scenario to give his creations a reason to believe they are just mentally insane but not made by him. He tells them that he is their brother and he wants to help and protect them, but for real he's their creator and tries to keep them with him, so he won't be so lonely in his mind. That's why I also think that the man shown in the video could be an older version of Emerson remembering his creations and his company Liseil Inc, in which he worked all by himself and locked up so he won't get distracted. So also the end of the video is staged, where the three of them get kidnapped and taken away, Emerson might have asked someone to do that to them so he can play his little game on, telling Remington and Sebastian that they are crazy whilst he is the one with the ttue mental illness. The voice saying "You never really know in which direction progress lies" tells us that Emerson tries to progress his own mental health in a direction he doesn't even know by himself by spending time with his creations, whilst Remington get's angry and crazy about the fact that he knows, that he isn't real and he wants Emerson to tell the truth and to stop fucking with his head. @@hosskvlt Actually a scream doesn't have to be gurgled to be a scream. Actually what Remington does when he sings is use fry distortion, which can enable a singer to both sing and scream with ease. He's actually doing fry screams in this song. I've been working on my voice for years and it's pretty easy to notice what another vocalist is doing with their voice, but yeah. He's screaming with his diaphragm, he's just not doing the cookie monster/demonic cat type screams otherwise known as falsechord screams.
Okay so after watching this a few times, I think I have a rough idea for a theory. I think Remington is trapped in this house alone as he's being experimented on, purely because he's the only one who doesn't leave the foyer. Sebastian is seen outside and Emerson is seen reading upstairs, whereas Remington is confined to downstairs where he tries to climb the stairs but doesn't seem to make it. This can also be seen where Sebastian and Emerson don't seem to struggle in any form when they're taken where as Remington panics. I also believe that he thinks Daniel is working for Liesiel and that's who gives the older man the note, that Daniel is conspiring against them. Notably, there's a split second where Remington is screaming at Emerson to stop, and maybe that's what the drugs are doing to him, causing him to hallucinate his brothers and this also has a fun parallel to You'll Be Fine where it was Emerson shouting at Remington. I think the drugs that they are testing on Remington are making him complacent, hence the shot of there being an open door but no one makes a move for it. So tldr; Sebastian and Emerson aren't really there and Remington is going mad and is 'stuck' mentally and probably physically whilst Daniel collects information on the three of them.
This theory about daniel goes under my skin, since he was kicked out of the band lately...Sometimes I think palate can predict the future, with the whole gas masks and the song Lonely and shortly after that is corona and isolation going on.

Theory: the use of the word “you’re” is actually talking about Remington himself. Although it is important to know Sebastian and Emerson are silently battling their own mental issues, I believe there is two purpose to the title of this song.Listening to the lyrics he has developed monsters within his head that twist his reality making him psychotic. The second verse explains this perfectly, he is talking to his own head ,” I ask you nicely but you won’t go home” and “I don’t know why but I just want to be alone”. As these voice are developing he is trying to fight against them until he becomes too weak. He begins with these voices in control of them as we hear with the lyrics,” you torture me but I just can’t scream” but throughout the video he is taken over by his insanity and taken away by Liesel inc. He turns into the infamous Patient X that we have seen and heard before in Palaye’s music. He’s taken away to “the mental estate” as heard in Ragdoll or what is Liesel Inc. This is how the mental institution physically fucks with his head trying to control his insanity.I suspect this idea to be based around the Gas Mask peice both Remington and Emerson had drawn since it sits on the fireplace the whole video and we see Daniel wearing a real gas mask . this is prefacing the story of Patient x and takes place before the entirety of Palaye Royale’s music. Some are more obvious like the hospital bed at the end of the video, or mr doctor man and sick boy soldier tying in with Patient X .This reveals so much more about prior songs like how the name connects with “Cemeteries 2: Dreams of Liesel”,”I promise I’m not insane/just a little bit yeah...” in Where’s the Boom,”I want to tell you how to lose your mind “ in How do you do ,and so many more. This video is a masterpiece!!!

My FWMH theory: The game of chess is a big deal in this video. They show clips of the band playing it, until towards the end when it falls apart. The point of the game chess is to pursue "a direct attack of which escape is impossible." My thinking is that, since they show darker images of the tub/empty beds after they are directly attacked, and the chess game falls over, they are being taken to the Lieseil Experimentation Facility, of which escape is impossible. Since lots of people are connecting this to "You'll Be Fine," I'll leave this lyric here with it: "You wanted to escape, but you're not that innocent."

I think he means the sternum scream, which is different from throat screaming. Sternum starts in the stomach and is really hard to master.
Sternum screaming doesn't exist and you aren't supposed to ever scream from the throat, it comes from the diaphragm.

@@hosskvlt Actually a scream doesn't have to be gurgled to be a scream. Actually what Remington does when he sings is use fry distortion, which can enable a singer to both sing and scream with ease. He's actually doing fry screams in this song. I've been working on my voice for years and it's pretty easy to notice what another vocalist is doing with their voice, but yeah. He's screaming with his diaphragm, he's just not doing the cookie monster/demonic cat type screams otherwise known as falsechord screams.
Okay so after watching this a few times, I think I have a rough idea for a theory.
I think Remington is trapped in this house alone as he's being experimented on, purely because he's the only one who doesn't leave the foyer. Sebastian is seen outside and Emerson is seen reading upstairs, whereas Remington is confined to downstairs where he tries to climb the stairs but doesn't seem to make it. This can also be seen where Sebastian and Emerson don't seem to struggle in any form when they're taken where as Remington panics. I also believe that he thinks Daniel is working for Liesiel and that's who gives the older man the note, that Daniel is conspiring against them. Notably, there's a split second where Remington is screaming at Emerson to stop, and maybe that's what the drugs are doing to him, causing him to hallucinate his brothers and this also has a fun parallel to You'll Be Fine where it was Emerson shouting at Remington. I think the drugs that they are testing on Remington are making him complacent, hence the shot of there being an open door but no one makes a move for it.
So tldr; Sebastian and Emerson aren't really there and Remington is going mad and is 'stuck' mentally and probably physically whilst Daniel collects information on the three of them.

Theory: the use of the word “you’re” is actually talking about Remington himself. Although it is important to know Sebastian and Emerson are silently battling their own mental issues, I believe there is two purpose to the title of this song.Listening to the lyrics he has developed monsters within his head that twist his reality making him psychotic. The second verse explains this perfectly, he is talking to his own head ,” I ask you nicely but you won’t go home” and “I don’t know why but I just want to be alone”. As these voice are developing he is trying to fight against them until he becomes too weak. He turns into the infamous Patient X that we have seen and heard before in Palaye’s music. He’s taken away to “the mental estate” as heard in Ragdoll or what is Liesel Inc. This is how the mental institution physically fucks with his head trying to control his insanity.I suspect this idea to be based around the Gas Mask peice both Remington and Emerson had drawn since it sits on the fireplace the whole video and we see Daniel wearing a real gas mask . this is prefacing the story of Patient x and takes place before the entirety of Palaye Royale’s music. Some are more obvious like the hospital bed at the end of the video, or mr doctor man and sick boy soldier tying in with Patient X .This reveals so much more about prior songs like how the name connects with “Cemeteries 2: Dreams of Liesel”,”I promise I’m not insane/just a little bit yeah...” in Where’s the Boom,”I want to tell you how to lose your mind “ in How do you do ,and so many more. This video is a masterpiece!!!

My FWMH theory:
The game of chess is a big deal in this video. They show clips of the band playing it, until towards the end when it falls apart. The point of the game chess is to pursue "a direct attack of which escape is impossible."
My thinking is that, since they show darker images of the tub/empty beds after they are directly attacked, and the chess game falls over, they are being taken to the Lieseil Experimentation Facility, of which escape is impossible.

how does this fit into palaye/lieseil inc.?
well, here’s my theory/everything i know at this point in time.
in the music video for “death is a party, invite all your friends”, an andy warhol screen test is used. edie sedgwick. she was among the most well known superstars, but she ended her relationship with warhol out of nowhere and the two were never known to associate again. she passed a brief few years later as a result of an overdose. remington has the song title tattooed on his arm, and i think that’s a clue for us to know that this song holds some importance to what’s to come.
sedgwick was also known to feature a cameo in “vinyl”- warhol’s interpretation of a clockwork orange, which had an all male cast otherwise.
fast forward to the era of side a. songs such as warhol and clockwork (clockwork is less significant here, but i just thought i’d mention it) are released.
warhol, when used as a word as opposed to a name, is defined as leading someone to believe you’re doing one thing when you’re actually doing the opposite. showing your left hand so they don’t know what you’re doing with your right.
in the song warhol, remington is singing about an outside party (now believed to be lieseil inc.) trying to corrupt him.

essentially, the theory goes that lieseil inc. warholed the boys/patient x? into becoming an experiment in their “better living experimentation program”, corrupting them and turning them into a breed of warhol superstars of their own. seemingly perfect on the outside, on the inside all composed of drug addicts and free thinkers being coerced down a path of perfect stardom. in this, lieseil inc. is a sort of warhol of it’s own. obsessed with a certain idea for humanity and taking it out through its human experiments- the better living experimentation programs. they’ll fuck with your head (*insert fucking with my head here*), control you and churn you out into someone you don’t recognise.
patient x was the first experiment of lieseil inc., and he was a failed attempt at producing the perfect human. he saw through the lies and eventually was driven mad. he was left numb and dead inside and completely alone.
